Seems a little bit like ring chasing, but UNC will be so young and lack chemistry so if she was ring chasing I would not have picked UNC.

Idk. One could have said the same thing when Aldave, Dirks, Geiersbach, etc transferred in for 2022. They already had Ortega, Scottie Rose, Warehime, Mastroianni, Wurzburger, etc. It worked out then

That would be good for Denver. I don't think she will get Denver over the hump/slump they are in, but if she's happy at mile high then good for her.

USF up to 4 now. I’d bet with Spidey it gets up to a minimum of 6, probably 7-8.

Adding Gresham makes sense given UNC was weak on draws compared to the top three ACC teams this past season. But she is strictly a draw specialist and will not add much to the offense even though she is listed as an attacker. Adding Vergano would be a bit of a surprise. I like her on the circle, that she is a lefty, and has a hard shot. She gives great effort and hustles on every play. She seems to be a step behind in speed compared to other top ACC attackers. My recollection is she is more of a 1v1 attacker, doesn’t assist much, and her shot selection is questionable at times. Based on her stats she is prone to turnovers as well. I’m not seeing the fit here on offense, definitely on the circle.

I can understand adding a fogo for draw depth and legit lefty scoring threat, each with upper class experience. They have a lot of mouths to feed but good problem to have, I guess?

LOL... I've been keeping an eye on things on the IL page. They "entered" with 4 so no change there. Although I do wonder if they are updating the page in semi-real time since I haven't noticed any changes since the page was published on Friday. From the list, overall, only a couple schools seem on the high side with the only real surprise being VT (of course those more in the know may not be surprised).

Gresham led VT with 102 draw controls and Vergano was second with 91 . 193 draws total. Horne led UNC with 62 and Nalls was second with 60 , 122 combined and they were both seniors and I think have graduated. UNC also graduated their 4th and 5th best DC players Long and Dirks with 31 and 29. They return Leonard who had 42.

If UNC actually gets them it’s a huge improvement at the draw circle.

The more you have, the less the others have...some coaches recruit solely on that strategy. So that their competitors don't get this players.
