Jason is listed as a sophomore. If he was injured, fine. If he practiced with the team his 1st year and didn't play, he's not a rookie. I'm off my soap box now. Too bad the A 10 will only get 1 team in the NCAA tourney. I think both St. Joes and Richmond deserve consideration no matter who wins the A 10.

4-3 low scoring, heavy on the defense - start of Q3.

Carter Page with the wrap around goal is the highlight - along with the usual Matt Knote saves - 6 to 4 Hawks about halfway through 3rd.

No major separation in the score,

again, defenses are real solid, 8-6 Hawks - start of 4th.

St Joes is not a team you want to see in the 1st round.

Matt Bohmer is underrated. The kid just scores goals.

I'll call it, under a minute, but Hawks move on.

If St Joes wins this championship they can play with anyone in the NCAA tournament. Richmond is very good too and can hang with anyone but not sure they can take down and upset a top seed in the tournament. I feel like St Joes with that ride and talent on offense can definitely upset any top seed. Also if there defense plays like they did today. They were swarming the ball.

Carter Page with a back to goal, between the legs, upper right corner highlight goal,

but still, tied 9-9 in the 3rd.

Right now, I’m not sure Hopkins could beat either of these teams.

Both St. Joe’s and Richmond playing aggressively and throwing around some heavy lumber.

I have no dog in this fight. I just wanted to watch some lacrosse, so switched this on. Wow! What a game this has been. Looks like Richmond are slipping here at the end, but this has been first class entertainment.

Definitely superior, physical lacrosse, Doc.

-----------------------

That is two Pennsylvania based teams in the NCAAs, Hawks and Penn State, 2nd time for the Hawks.
With a chance for four, Villanova and UPenn still with their finals upcoming.

I'll mention for the millionth time, Hawks with a Zero Win season a little over a decade ago - regularly getting crushed.

Richmond, a very good team, but the NCAAs for this season are better with the Hawks in it.

Coach Cullinan watching and smiling from above.

Hawks since 2014 have over 100 wins, winning 68% of their games, with two NCAA tournies now.
