Pretty much the perfect start for MIT. Five goals from five different goal scorers, dominant on faceoffs, Drexler-Bruce 4/4 on saves. Sardis is definitely not right though, really hate to see that.

I've watched maybe about an hour and a half of Amherst lacrosse this year, and let's call it 10 man-up opportunities. They have run the same fake-right-throw-back to DiMale on the left play at least 12 times (and scored more often than not!). How have teams not scouted this better?

No announcer and just a bunch of crowd noise really sucks in this York game. :x
If we need that extra push over the cliff, ya know what we do...eleven, exactly.

And the camera operator can't follow play. I gave up.

I have generally been really impressed by the broadcasts over the course of the last two days - thought York, Salisbury, and Tufts all did a great job on both second round matchups. All pretty knowledgeable about all the teams, good insight, etc. Felt like the NCAA tournament should!

The last two games I've watched though...woof. The guy at RIT doing the MIT-Amherst game seemingly did about ten seconds of prep and very clearly had absolutely zero interest in the game - he spent the entire game basically reading [name + number] off a roster sheet in bored monotone and had almost nothing to say about what was happening on the field. Camera operator missed multiple goals and struggled to follow the action in general. Now it's York-Denison with no broadcaster. It's the NCAA tournament - come on people. Baby steps I guess.

I am convinced York uses software to follow the action.

I guess in a blowout like this it can be pretty funny to hear the parents yelling from the stands. This is not at all what I expected from this game.

The York announcer (who is fantastic mind you) did the Women’s win over St John Fisher earlier in the day, and apparently wasn’t pulling a double. The camera person (who I’m convinced must be a student volunteer) has been less than appealing the entire season.

Great win BTW

York looked really solid. I wonder how much of an emotional toll Grove City took out of Denison.

York uses their Sports Broadcasting Majors for the broadcast camera and production. Today however, those students were done with school and going home. I was told that they were disappointed in the camera work for the Mens game

Wow not only are they the best games but they are all great games. The committee really hit a home run this year.

Absolutely! Only complaint is they didn't somehow stagger game times.

I feel like some teams got a really tough second game. Meanwhile, York wins by 15. Will be interesting how that impacts next weeks york CNU game

MIT must be pumped! I didn't call that. WNE, didn't see that coming, but maybe Lynchburg has been given too much credit. Are all ODAC teams out?
