Looks like a weak schedule, apart from some of the teams in their own conference. Outside the conference, their toughest opponent Northwestern is early in February. That's it for tough opponents. The other teams scheduled are Ohio State, Marquette, Central Michigan, Vanderbilt, Duquesne, Hofstra, Butler and Liberty. They won't get much help from RPI with that list.

Notre Dame will be a very good team this year with the existing group returning and a strong recruiting class. But this schedule will not prepare them for the NCAA's. Seems like they are still reeling from missing the Tournament two years ago and are guaranteeing a winning record. Northwestern is only non-conference team that will remotely give them a fight. If they lose a couple in the ACC they are in trouble.

I guess Kennedy #1 but she does play in the weak sisters of the poor America East conference where she played 9 of her 21 games. Against Maryland in The Tournament she managed no goals, 1 assist. She’s talented—no doubt, and she plays like a house on fire. I’d love to see her play in the Big 10 or ACC to get an indication of how she would hold up with a tougher schedule.

Kerrigan Miller #2? She does a lot of things well, but only 22 goals? I’d put Michigan's intrepid Maggie Kane or her equally as fearless partner Molly Garrett in there just as easily. They play just as hard in a tougher conference.

I don’t think Urbank makes the grade. She had some outstanding teammates feeding her, most notably Kenzie Kent. Her overall stats aren’t as thorough as some of the others.

Aldave is a great choice. She’s a fiery force for the Irish. She might have a breakout year, which is saying a lot because her numbers are very strong now considering the conference she plays in.

Not a whole lot of standout/flashy midfielders left after so many graduated last season. Grace Griffin for Maryland has numbers just as good if not better than some of the players here. Syracuse has some good middies. We’ll see who else emerges next year…

Few others you left off the list...Alyssa Parella (3rd Team AA), Shannon Kavannaugh (2nd Team AA) and Sammy Mueller (1st Team AA).

Well that is CBS, not unexpected except the M/W split ...I think that Loyola streams all their home games (free), cant speak for the other schools.

Without a doubt, BC lost a wagon of talent but the only real hits Michigan takes is an offensive player, a goaltender and their best defender. Apart from that, they didn’t lose a whole lot (though some could argue those three players are a lot.)

Does this schedule strike anyone else as odd? Seems like new coach Amy Bokker has scheduled a lot of games in a tight window with not much time to rest. 6 games in 17 days to start February. Then 7 games in March, to then only 3 games in April. They go without playing anyone for 10 days in early April with another 8 days off after their game with Penn State on the 11th.

Preseason rankings just for fun aren't an issue. Like this. It's the preseason rankings that are used as a starting point for the rankings for the rest of the season that are a problem. The starting point for rankings should be fair and earned. And, for FanLax, starting in 2020 where the teams left off in 2019 isn't perfect but it's fair.

I think it may have to do with her late arrival as coach and the ability to schedule games, meaning this may have been all that basically available to her?
