I believe Gen. Kelly 100 percent. Trump's ranting and raving about Gen Kelly is odd, considering all the glowing praise he had for him at first. A man of Gen. Kelly's integrity would never make such a comment about a sitting POTUS if it was not deserved.

Yup, it's deserved.

72, I get the POS, however you'd welcome him going on 60 Minutes tonight and looking directly in the camera and saying this, right?

That he won't only bolsters your point of view.

I'm not saying he would deserve a total pass for not doing so, way, way earlier, but even now is not too late to at least be welcomed.

If Trump loses in a crushing defeat, I’m beginning to think less about how he might incite violence and more about how he might slip quietly out of the country to save himself from the inevitability of criminal prosecution.

You don't understand the mindset of military people such as Gen Kelly. They NEVER say derogatory remarks about a sitting POTUS. For that matter they never say anything about any former CiC that they may have served under. It is not out of character for you to look a gift horse in the mouth. Even when your side wins you are too effing smart for your own good to understand what just happened.

Actually, he's quoted by his friends very bluntly, meaning he very definitely says "derogatory remarks"...and there's no way that gets out if he did not intend for it. Or he should deny it entirely.

He has some plausible deniability, but we haven't heard any denial by him.

And it sure is clear that Trump believes Kelly said exactly as quoted... :D

But will Kelly appear?
He'll definitely be discussed, but will he be on camera?

You'd think they'd tease that harder if yes.

They did say "and others"....

As it is, it's going to quite an array of folks.

Kelly's consistent MO has been to let others leak/tell things that Kelly feels/says/saw. And then, when the stories come out, to remain silent.

Which is a de facto confirmation of the stories.

Add to that the fact that Kelly has publicly backed up other Trump critics like Mattis and Vindman. And also add Kelly's comments to (of all people) The Mooch about how we need to look more at the ethics/character of our leaders (but naming no names).

The picture is crystal clear. Even if Kelly (for whatever reason) has declined to go on 60 Minutes and declare that Trump is the worst person on planet Earth.
