This is common. My guess is that the kids not connecting aren’t playing. That’s usually how it goes.
Not necessarily. Some kids who are playing know that some guys not playing should be playing. That’s often how it goes.

I don't know, the program has been in turmoil for a while now.
I really liked John Crawley as a player. Kelly was very good too. I hope they both can help turn things around for this team.

New ‘24 recruit: “Congrats to newcomer Joe Hobot on his commitment to @jhumenslacrosse! The Long Island native is a do-it-all midfielder with an elite motor and is one of the top face-off guys in the class of '24.” Loomis Chaffee Boys Lacrosse tweet.

He was a '23 who committed awhile ago but has reclassed as a '24. Transferring from Smithtown East to Loomis. Supremely quick and athletic faceoff guy who can contribute on offense

A face-off guy who can stay on and force the FOGO to defend him?

I keep forgetting that Crawley is in the fold. From what I’ve heard people fully expect him to be an approachable players coach and may bring some stability to that front because what I’ve heard Grant, Milliman, JK, Annino were not a good combination. When they are each described as aloof, distant, task master and arrogant what did we expect for results.

for a guy whose mouth has had a few errant shots the last few years, this was good to see.

Crawly and Koester have non private instagram accounts and are doing a really nice job telling the fall story, lot of gorgeous shots of homewood and the clc.

football has a few carey grad guys. I don't know how many athletes are using the program but it doesn't seem limited to lacrosse players.

serious question. Does Johns Hopkins or the university of maryland mean more to the state of maryland?

listening to jac collinsworth and jason garrett wondering who has the worse broadcast team in the mind of national fans-us w/quint and carc or irish w/collinsworth jr and garrett?

One is private snd one public. Hopkins is the largest private employer. How do you define “mean more”

Just FYI … Johns Hopkins is now ranked #7 in the new U.S. News rankings. Moved up two spots from last year. Now ahead of Caltech and Duke in the rankings.

We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

Very excited to see how someone spins this as bad for the lacrosse program. You know it's coming

In a world with dozens of excellent lacrosse programs and nearly as many good schools ( ;) ), every little advantage helps.

Rankings are just another form of marketing, and universities need good marketing in this era. That’s not even up for debate.
