About this time every year, I am reminded about Trump’s repeated, blatant lie that he can’t release his tax returns because he is “under audit.”

Trump (as do most taxpayers of his ilk) always takes advantage of the automatic six-month extension granted by the IRS to file tax returns. So he always files his returns around October 15.

Trump filed his 2019 tax return yesterday or thereabouts. Obviously his 2019 return is not under audit. So it could be released.

The same was true of his 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 returns. All of them were filed after Trump announced he was running for president. None of them was under audit on the day he filed the return.

I saw a brief clip of trump being grilled at the event last night. It may have been an illusion but I am certain I kept seeing hatchets flying past his head.

Plus the CDC did not release a report that said that 85% of the people who always/frequently wear masks have contracted COVID. The report said that OF THOSE WHO GOT COVID (not including those protected that did not get it) 85% reported the always frequently mask wearing, but also seem to frequently report risky behavior like eating in a restaurant (where it is difficult to keep a mask on and eat at the same time).

Look I'm the last guy to look at polls because they don't use good methodology any longer, but I give Trafalgar credit for being the most accurate over the last few election cycles since they see and reflect the problems getting enough actual (real) Republican voters to participate.

I have warned my Dem friends to stop measuring drapes...you are way out over your skis, boys, meaning the fall will be that much more painful.

Trump is pulling away in every single battleground state. I know that's occurring in Florida...I have to imagine other voters are seeing what's happening with the anarchy in Democratic cities and thinking 'not for me'.
