When you have the number 1 ranked transfer class, yep, I guess a transfer thread would be.

Well, I hope the number of transfers had nothing to do with this:

4-star Riley Figueiras, D, St. John's (D.C.) / @AnnapolisHawks has flipped from @RUmlax to @CuseMLAX. A cerebral four-year starter, he'll join several teammates (Dwan, Trujillo & Rhoa) in the Orange's loaded '22 recruiting class: per Xanders’

But losing your top recruit who could help you for potentially six years (see Mullins, Charlambides, Bullett, Franckowiak) isn't good.

I know nothing about Figueiras' situation, but as I wrote back in June:
smoova wrote: Thu Jun 24, 2021 11:06 am The 2023-2025 high school players/parents I know are paying very close attention to which schools take/start transfers. I have no idea whether a program's history of taking transfers will absolutely dissuade any kids from committing to DU/Duke/etc, but it is certainly a part of the calculus now.

Mikey Drake transfer ND to Fairfield.

“ FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Head Coach Andrew Baxter has announced that Frankie Labetti and Taylor Strough will return to Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse for the 2022 season. Both student-athletes completed their undergraduate studies in the spring of 2021 and will continue their education as graduate students at the University. Thomas Semple was a fairly high draft pick in this year’s
NLL draft.
Maxwell Semple’s timing could not be better, top guy Reid
Bowering who played real well against Notre Dame, Semple
could step right into that role, leftie Canadian box skills
attack, with about the size to match Bowering, and also
played on Coquitlam Adanacs Jr A team.

Richmond defensive midfielder Mustang Sally has also entered the NCAA's transfer portal, per a source. A fellow Denver native, Sally played in all 13 games last year, scoring a goal along with 13GB's and 4CT's.

Both look like Denver, Utah as destinations,
to me.

Could easily see Connell staying instate and heading to UVA, or up to College Park. Though with Ethan Walker graduated, Denver is probably in the lead for his services.

I'd heard Loyola too. It wouldn't surprise me if he's casting a wide net.

So it's been a few months - anyone hear where Richie Connell and/or Mustang Sally ended up? The Richmond 2022 roster is posted and those two guys are on it. I have to assume they worked out their issues and decided to stick around?
