Guess you missed that the best study to date, double blind, rigorous etc reported out this week that there's zero positive effect from HCQ in prophylactic (preventive) use.
No one has died from not using HCQ for COVID-19. It doesn't help at all.
The other study you are referring to found that there were significant adverse effects when being used with seriously ill patients, but apparently there's something that needs to be corrected. Don't get too far out over your skis that the ultimate answer isn't the same, with adverse effects shown.

for the umpteenth time... advocates of the drug have offered that it may have its most effectiveness early in treatment, with zinc, to prevent replication at that stage.
minnesota's study had their share of issues, but i and maybe anyone would've been surprised that it would actually prevent people from getting it at all.
you also ponder that the data from a withdrawn study might end up being good or representative. i suggest you do a deeper dive on that one. it was completely fraudulent, as i postured some time ago. and lends more to the fact that published and peer reviewed data is broken than anything else.
minny is also doing an early treatment trial, including with a zinc cohort. we'll see.

This points out 76's willingness to easily accept anything that sheds a poor light on Trump while rejecting out of hand anything that might make him look good. You say you are a moderate but you act like a woke 22 year old. Pure science is almost dead, between the state using it to impose its will on us through stuff like CAFE standards to corporations passing off junk science so they can dodge responsibility. Medicine might be the purest, but it still has profit motive built in. In this case, I'm not ruling out HCL is not favored because the patent ran out and it's cheap. Big Pharma would rather sell you an expensive drug or vaccine they can sell over and over again.

Watching DC local 11 o'clock news. After 3 mos lock down, lots of energy being released. Only about 50% wearing masks.
