The commentator for Syracuse - Virginia Tech spent most of the first quarter referring to the draw circle as "center X", which drove me slightly crazy.

Clemson has a beautiful facility; the camera positioning seemed like it was to show off the building more than the actual game.

UConn and Yale was solid for the first quarter, and then things started falling apart for UConn. Not sure what their issue is this year.

Speaking of teams that are having a downturn so far this season, Army lost to Stanford pretty badly.

The Hopkins vs SB game is more proof some AD's just don't care. That was the most embarrassing broadcast I've seen in ages. HUDL cameras are better, even when there are birds flying in and out the entire time.

What stadium was the SBU Hopkins game played at?

Gutsy, gutsy win by Hop. They looked for certain sure like they were on their way to another el foldo. Jays led 13-5 with under 4 minutes left in the 3rd when Stony Brook went on a 7 goal tear to pull within 1. (Poor hmmm must have chewed his fingernails right down to the cuticles.) I thought it was smart of McCormack to call 2 timeouts in the 4th quarter. Hop calmed down. Doucette made a key save on FP at 6:06. (Sorry, DMac). Caused turnover machine Reagan O'Brien (3CT's 3GB's) (Beantown girl, doncha know) CTO'd Verhulst, scooped the ground ball--successful clear and a prolonged possession which ended in a FP goal at 1:58 (Smile, DMac). Ahh, breathing room. Draw control win JHU with just under 2:00 left. Chewed much time until the shot clock violation left Stony Brook with a mere 15 seconds to score two goals. Game.

This should help their confidence a lot. Big 10 play this year should be compelling.

So after these upsets, what is the new top 10?

To your point, it can't be ignored, but it is about a body of work and not one game right? Scane last year had 1 goal on 10 shots - in an NCAA playoff game. Statistically that was a bad (worse) day too.

I am not saying crown Masera, but comparing her to Scane this year, doesn't she deserve to be in a conversation even after her worst game of year so far where she did still have 5 points and 7 DC? Stats as of now

Scane - 7 games, 26 goals, 31 points, shot % .413 and 8 DC
Masera - 6 games 30 goals, 44 points, shot % .405 and 56 DC

Long season to play out and definitely she is a long shot - but I like her fire (and if memory serves she is a true 4 year player vs 6 year player which adds bonus points for me). I know the Northwestern swarm will react - but Masera performance to date at least keeps her relevant to the conversation on 3/9 I believe.

No. Because Masera puts up those numbers playing in. a weak conference with few out of conference heavy hitters.

Someone read the IL scoreboard on Davidson result. They had it wrong.
