Sure we do. I see the patriots here have now moved on from Trump and Russian Collusion to Mitch...or both or course.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:24 amPatriots don't care about stuff like that.Trinity wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:07 am After the fact. Comey told us he did it on TV when he said Trump asked him to let Flynn skate. It would be a ridiculous charge. This ain’t the Deep State.
Be more worried about Mitch and his x-staffers working for Russian oligarch Deripaska. Remember him? Manafort’s boy?

A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Re: All Things Russia
It looks like Comey also took SECRET stuff home with him too (a la Petraeus & Deutch).
The IG can't yet confirm whether or not he shared SECRET content with his lawyer, since the SECRET content was not part of what his lawyer fed to the media.

the IG’s final report won’t be complete until it gets feedback from Comey’s lawyers in the next few days, it is expected to conclude that the former FBI director improperly took with him memos that were FBI property when he was fired, transmitted classified information via an insecure email account, and shared some of the memos with his private lawyers. Some of the Comey memos were classified up to the “secret” level, but the FBI has not disclosed whether those were shared with his lawyers like the classified confidential memo was.

That's an opinion piece, which the author says is based on leaks from "sources".
Thought you were opposed to that sort of thing, os. Why are you spreading it around here?

Re: All Things Russia
You don't know if it was a leak or if the article sources were authorized.
Some officials are authorized to respond to media inquires, on background, without attribution.
I'm opposed to leaks of classified information.
The higher the classification level -- the higher my level of concern.
That's why I agree with Barr's decision not to prosecute.
That's why I cited the Petraeus & Deutch cases as precedent for that decision.

She needs to read Papadop's book. (It's a hoot)
He freely admits trying to arrange a Trump - Putin meeting throughout the campaign.
That was going to be his signature accomplishment & entree to a job in the Trump Admin.
It appears that Lewindowski, Clovis, Gordon & Kellogg just needed a name on Trump's expert list (like Carter Page) & never took either of them seriously. Both were delusional wannabes who capitalized on their new found fame to lead the US & allied IC's on a merry selfpromotional chase.
The question is whether or not the IC's ran informants at them, to entrap them, using tactics they could not get away with in the US.
The keys to be learned are --
-- who was Mifsud working for.
-- are there recordings of Papadop's conversations with Halper & Downer.
-- who facilitated Papadop's meeting with Downer.
...& who was the sultry honey trap Azra Turk (& will she tesify in public) ?
There's some froth for ya.

Now there’s a first: an MDlf post that’s ten words rather than ten paragraphs. It doesn't even word wrap to two printed lines. Hallelujah!
Thank you, MD. Keep up the good work. This post was readable.

Moscow Mitch says we should blame Moscow Mnuchin for the sanctions relief bestowed upon Deripaska and Rusal. Mitch was only following orders.

Re: All Things Russia
Blame our EU allies whose Ambassadors lobbied relentlessly for us to not sanction Rusal.
We discussed this, in detail, when it was happening.
