Pretty even stats although Army won the ground ball battle 26-20. CJ Kirst was held to 2 assists. Great to be able to win without him scoring.

Kirst held without a goal...is that correct?

Long really picked up the slack today. Army was sliding early to Kirst with doubles and triples. The defenseman covering him - Pilate - played a great game.

Sucks to miss this video. Hopefully maybe they can recover in the streaming on demand version of the game.
Should hopefully be on ESPN+ later today. Ended up switching to UVa-Duke myself, which also had a hell of an ending. Go Big Red!

Woo-hoo. Gutcheck win for the Big Red on the road against an incredibly tough and well coached Army team.

Marc Pysllos played an incredible game, both on the X and on the Wing. Davis also was amazing as was the whole defense and Chayse with a late clutch save.

If someone told me that neither Coyle or Kirst would score a goal and Cornell would still prevail, I would have looked at them like they just told me the Jets won the Super Bowl.

This team can obviously beat you both ways, outscore you or play great defense. Huge win for their OOC resume.

Again, great coaching by Connor and Jordan.

Next week, a very desperate Brown team in Providence. Another great test for this team.

Thank you Doc Brown and CU77. That was better camera work than the ESPN+ Army broadcast. Great look by Coyle.

Unlikely. Power was out, so almost certainly nothing was being recorded.

Army #33 messed up by leaving Blake unguarded after he fell down near GLE. Blake got back up & called for the ball on the crease, with no defender anywhere near him. Coyle delivered the pass & that was it. A rare breakdown on D for Army.

The game is posted on ESPN+ "on demand" but the end of the video is the same as we suffered through live -- no broadcast, just the promise that they will fix their technical difficulties. Eventually.
