Oh, boy is Pence really ending on a low note. He started pretty well, but really faded.

Wonder what he will do after the election. He is not a rich man so maybe he will become a lobbyist. Certainly won’t be making any money on the rubber chicken circuit. Who would pay a nickel to hear him talk? Unless you have insomnia.

The Pence Fly and Tupac are the headliners of this one.

Both ducked questions, Pence more than Harris. He also bulldozed over the time limit way too many times.

He has the reputation of being a good debater, and you can see why that might be, but this was not a particularly strong debate for him. Some part of that probably was due to the fact that he had to try to defend indefensible things.

Harris did just fine. She more than held her own, though she did have some misses.

Nobody knocked the other out. I would give the debate to Harris on points, say 10-9 or 10-8.

Ignoring the fact that Pence brought plague and pestilence with him to the debate as guests...

Don't think this is going to move the needle the way the Rs need. Way down with women; doubled down by trying to bully Kamala and talk over and through her at all times. Doing it in monotone doesn't make it any better.

Either way, Trump is guaranteed to go on a twitter bender within the next 12 hours and no one is going to remember any of this anyway... Except that fly.

Vice President Pence destroyed Kamala Harris, so left-wing media commentary will naturally default to "nothing really changes," "boring," and chatter about the fly.

They’ve kept Kamala out of the public eye because she’s unlikable, which is why Democrats booted her in the primary.

That all said, this won’t change things. Trump needs to take the case to Biden as well as Pence did this evening.

The fly better be a he. Otherwise Mother is going to be very, very mad that a female fly touched her husband.

Given that they were in Utah, the fly probably is a Republican. I wonder, though, if he or she is a Republican who is going to vote for Biden?

The fly did say on his or her Twitter account that he or she was tested for Covid. But I don’t believe the fly was wearing a mask.
