Just turned on Pitt v duke - did I hear right that Duke already has 3 yellow cards in the first quarter?
Although they just said it was 2Q so maybe it’s the graphic is showing the wrong quarter.

No you are mistaken….they now have 4. Add in the two yellows to Pitt and all the greens….this game seems to be played with at least 1 person in the sin bin at all times.

1. Duke doesn't develop players. 2. It's a target for all the parents preaching to their kids about using lacrosse to get into the best possible school but lacrosse doesn't really matter.

I am probably a bit biased but my 25's best friend (at least in lax) was super fast, smallish player constantly ranked in top 20 or 30 of recruiting class. Had offers from NW, MD, BC, UNC. Didn't even get a call from Duke, which was her top choice since she was 8. Feedback was she was too small

Wow what an ugly win. Who would have thought that Duke would struggle against Pitt? Kudos to Pitt for playing a solid game and staying in it. The Duke coach is certainly known for favoring taller stronger players but that is not working in their favor. Will be interesting if their 2026 recruiting suffers after this season.

Hard to imagine that she hasn't noticed Carolina and BC and NU and Notre Dame women sprinting down the field this last decade.
