I have zero issue with drag, or the LGBTQ+ as a whole. My concern was in this recent back and forth on Gender reassignment before the frontal cortex is developed....IMHO you are correct, the medical staff is majorly at fault, I would be surprised if a legal case can be argued that it goes against the Hippocratic Oath, but parents/children signing away their rights gives them protection. My point..someone needs to step in.
... that someone isn't a republiCON mob or the religious right. We are talking about a community that makes up .03% (IRCC) of the population. Lot of noise from these rightwing groups claiming they are trying to protect the .03%. We both know protection is not their game.

Honest question, were you not sure of your own gender prior to your prefrontal cortex fully developing?
This isn't some executive function decision. It's an inherent part of someone's being. People's brains develop one way and their bodies develop another way. It's a matter of getting their body to match their brain (since we can't change their brain).
Someone is already stepping in, and has been for decades. Properly trained medical professionals, patients and their parents - not politicians or media personalities. And those professionals are doing their best to help their patients and/or parents. And yes, to first do no harm. And the VAST majority of the time they're improving patients' lives.
I'm sure you'll find some exceptions to the rule. Good for you.

... it's a bad design! The guy that designed the damn thing should be fired. It's like there was no overarching "system" design at the beginning. Just the design evolved as new functionality was needed. Short cuts, rubber bands, tacky wax, multiple variables that control the same function.

The beer mistake is quite funny. So dumb.
But yes, the a-holes in this world think they have every right to harass others. If you look at the other videos of this particular a-hole, the racism as well as homophobia and 'covid' etc are rampant...but the point is to be offensive, in your face, an a-hole. Gets clicks. Gives jollies.
I think this sort of behavior is 99% about desperation that the world isn't in their control (replacement theory) and 1% about being ticked off about the left using tactics of "protest" that cross the line as well.
As to "GOP", it ain't "grand" right now.

Watched one of these videos (then had to stop) and I'm less bothered by people's perspectives on homosexuality than I am by the complete lack of empathy towards other human beings. This guy Ethan Schmidt is just awful...

... i'd argue these types won't survive. They think by sending us all back to the stone age, their stock will rise. We are not going back to the stone age and these guys are incapable of being successful in the current and likely future environments. Nature is in the process of selecting against them.
