Yorktown absolutely playing the type of game needed to beat South Side. Far from over but not blown away by this South Side squad. Mezzatesta on Yorktown has made some spectacular saves for the Huskers!

Missed the 2nd half but quite a turnaround from a very poor 1st half. They will have to play better on Saturday against Victor. I do believe they are the favorite in that matchup.

I don't think they gave the game away, SS wore Yorktown down. The Yorktown D looked exhausted in the 4th quarter.

It could have been worse if the Mezzatesta didn’t have 18 saves.

Mezzatesta was lights out! Victor has a more explosive offense than Yorktown. If they can win 6 or 7 face-offs, SS is going to have their work cut out for them. Should be a great one at Hofstra on Saturday!

both late 3q penalties were dumb. and last second goal should've been avoided. 7-6 instead of 7-3 entering the 4th.

lost all momentum. then very quickly were chasing. and getting exhausted on d.

Man poor Yorktown. Watched the game while texting back and forth with an old Laxpower poster and Yorktown alum and he said "we gave it away."

I was obviously pulling for South Side as I always root for LI teams at this stage but man Yorktown has the most brutal losses.
