Natural grass field. Looked to be in good shape the last 2 days, creases are dirt.
Who are the big change-of-direction players, and who has more applicable footwear now with the rain?

It is a natural grass/synthetic turf, hybrid surface. With a state of the drained system underneath. Don’t see field condition being an issue regardless of how much rain we see.

I would be curious to know the NCAA contingency plan for this issue prior to today. The start time backed up in 30 minute increments can’t possibly have been their only discussed solution. Right?

Why not call it for 4 p.m. tomorrow when you know it will definitely be clear and no more guessing and 30 minute extensions? Don't care about fans in the building or the media. Care about players in the lockerroom, playing for a natty in the biggest game of their career....and having to guess when the game will be.

I know, roast me. Whatever.

That’s cool for all the people travelling for distances and spending a lot of money and providing for their kids to see it.

Don’t have any fans and just play every game in the bubble then. So yeah that’s worth roasting as the raison d’etre for the game to be anywhere but some colleges home field is for spectators. But sure all the investment everyone makes to attend this doesn’t mean sh*t

This.. Despite the east coast being the epicenter for great lacrosse, surprised more tournaments (middle & high school included) aren't moved to the west coast in summer.
