Same old Notre Dame, huh? A couple of big wins during the regular season and then nothing in the post season.
Great, tenacious effort by Michigan.ultravisitor wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 2:37 pm Same old Notre Dame, huh? A couple of big wins during the regular season and then nothing in the post season.
running clock into the half. NU up 13 - 3ultravisitor wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 2:30 pm NU is pretty much on fire right now: 7-1 with 3 left in the first quarter.
Make that 8-1 with 6 different goal scorers.
Why was ND pressuring so much on that last possession like they needed the ball and score? Play packed in and just go to overtime.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 2:41 pmGreat, tenacious effort by Michigan.ultravisitor wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 2:37 pm Same old Notre Dame, huh? I was perplexed by this too. Might be...coaching.tothedraw wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 3:06 pmWhy was ND pressuring so much on that last possession like they needed the ball and score? Could say the same about Loyolaultravisitor wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 2:37 pm Same old Notre Dame, huh? A couple of big wins during the regular season and then nothing in the post season.

Scane now the D1 leader in goals
Agree with this. Definitely underestimated Florida. Wish they played a more challenging schedule in season.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 3:06 pm It appears I have been underestimating Florida all year. Florida might smoke the Terps in the Quarters.
I think that's exactly why I underestimated them; hard to gauge how good they are until they play competitive teams. I don't think UNC and UVA are among the top five or anything, but Florida is proving to be a very good team. Gators play very nice offense, loose, fast, deadly.saltylaxer wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 4:14 pmAgree with this. Definitely underestimated Florida. Why are they playing Thursday and not Saturday ?The Orfling wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 4:32 pm Nice win for Yale! They beat a gritty Hopkins squad to advance. Down 6-5 in the second half, they outscored Hopkins 4-1 down the stretch and pulled out the win. Hopkins played very good defense and none of the goals came easily. I was very impressed with Coach Bamford of Yale; she saved her timeouts and used them strategically to get the ball into the right sticks for some big clears late. Congratulations to Hopkins for a great season and great job, Yale. Tough job ahead in upstate New York but at this point after winning two tournament games the season's been a stunning success.
I'm guessing maybe due to TV, since the games will be broadcast on ESPNU? Men are Saturday and Sunday; there's probably only so much lacrosse ESPNU wants to carry -- something else must be on tap for Friday?Madlax59 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 4:36 pmWhy are they playing Thursday and not Saturday ?The Orfling wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 4:32 pm Nice win for Yale! Masera didnt have a great game. Cuse Draw specialist really dominated.DMac wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 4:47 pm Didn't think Stony Brook would be beating Cuse today. Hard fought game, Cuse prevailed.
Doesn't Masera take draws too? Was thinking Joe would put her on Mashewske so she could
be real close to her when she won it to herself. Kate is vulnerable when she has the ball
in her stick.
