Princeton transfer Defenseman Jacob Stoebner will spend his graduate season at Johns Hopkins
Hopefully, finally someone blocks Danowski’s mobile number.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 6:36 pm Not necessarily an area of need but I remember him from Princeton's regular-season game against Yale and he was terrific. 6'3'' 205 with Final Four experience...he can probably play a little bit.
Also interesting that Duke is bringing in the Princeton goalie Rakower...You hear that Chayse?
Yeah this is definitely not a true statement. The take away from this past season is really to increase the margin for error the Jays need to be better on the offensive end if they aren't going to get even better play out of other areas of the field. That much is certainly true but how you get from here to there doesn't have to be the portal.Sagittarius A* wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 6:17 pmWe would have to hit the jackpot in the portal to be playing next Memorial Day weekend.51percentcorn wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 6:04 pm You have every single offensive midfielder mid-fielder returning assuming no transfers or issues - the top 8 midfielders gave you 150 points why can't they get better?
You have a good core defensively in front of the biggest questionmark going into '24 - need a solution there without question to get to Memorial Day week-end
Parents both doctors and IL says he wants to come to get into med school. Sounds like a really impressive kid.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 7:45 pm Stoebner is a great addition. Long pole depth is going to be as good as any team in the country.
I love alll of the intrepid posters who were so certain that we were only winning 4 games this year now boldly asserting we have no chance whatsoever making it it Memorial Day 2024. Keep it coming, beacons of lacrosse wisdom. Great stuff.
Welcome, Jacob! Can never have too much depth at D!Hoponboard wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 6:32 pm From Inside Lacrosse:
“Defenseman Jacob Stoebner will spend his graduate season at Johns Hopkins pursuing a Masters degree in hopes of attending medical school subsequently. Stoebner is 6-3, 205 lbs. from Westlake HS in Austin, Texas). A part of a deep group of longpoles, Stoebner started four games and appeared in 12, picking up seven groundballs and causing seven turnovers.”
He will help.DocBarrister wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 9:23 pmWelcome, Jacob! Can never have too much depth at D!Hoponboard wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 6:32 pm From Inside Lacrosse:

But, realistically, the team is losing three really key pieces, maybe more. You have to replace them somehow. Maybe the Princeton transfer channels Mazzone, maybe he's a lockdown defender. The team has lots of pieces on offense, but they still need to win faceoffs and get groundballs and clear the ball. You don't need a ball hog like TD, but you do need key players at other positions. You also can't count on a super favorable draw in the tournament. Lots of improvement from this year's team v the last three seasons. But still not at the elite status you need to reach the final four yet. They desperately need another FO man, maybe some other positions as well.Ruffled_Feathers wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 7:01 pmYeah this is definitely not a true statement. The lacrosse genius Q the K had the Jays out of the top 20 at the beginning of the season...primitiveskills wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 7:45 pm Stoebner is a great addition. Long pole depth is going to be as good as any team in the country.

Are you a Yankee and Laker fan too?Basement Bias wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 10:56 pm Good to have been back in the mix this 2023 season. The PSU loss & the B1G tourney loss to Maryland hurt as did the Loyola, UNC, & Virginia ones too. We played ND tough so no shame there. The Georgetown, Navy, and Syracuse wins were nice as were the B1G successes. I'm cautiously optimistic for the 2024 season. Being a Michigan football & North Carolina basketball fan too has taught me that. Hopefully our beloved Blue Jays can get back on top of the mountain soon! We want more!
Nope lol. Marlins & Warriors. The Warriors were awful when I became a fan. Sprewell choking PJ was the highlight then before Richardson in the dunk contest & then We Believe.hmmm wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 9:13 amAre you a Yankee and Laker fan too?Basement Bias wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 10:56 pm Good to have been back in the mix this 2023 season.
