Also, vs. Winthrop, the Tigers were only +1 on TO margin and -3 on Gbs ... 11-14 clearing vs. 10-12 for their opponent. Does not bode well for ACC play, but we shall see.

Which means I'm also interested in the Navy vs. Villanova game should be pretty competitive
I do agree that Michelle has something going at West Point, and couldn't be happier to see her and her charges succeed. But (see Watcher's post about Clemson) I watched the Army-UNH game and Army's game against Colgate, and found the pace of play really slow and sluggish. I missed the Army-Jax game, which I count as a nice win for the Knights. But I think Rutgers is at a slightly different level, and expect a narrow Rutgers win. Gonna be cold at Michie? ESPN+

8Meter, you need to work at home more.

Boston College v. Duke -- BC by four or five.

These two games seem like they may offer something competitive.

I'm kind of interested in the OSU v. Denver game too, if only to see the Pios defense in advance of Denver's game against Maryland in College Park on March 5.
I am interested in the OSU v Denver game as well. OSU got beat up pretty good by USC (who BC demolished), so I am not sure if it will be a true test of contender status for Denver. I love watching their defense play, Coach Kelly and Coach Read have really put together a fun unit. Waiting to see if the Pio's can get some type of flow on offense!

I think Katrina Dowd is the offensive coach at Army. Just a super smart lax IQ and offensive mind. No wonder the lack knights are improving. Still wondering why she ever left Carolina after she returned from Oregon, as I believe she was named their associate head coach?

Agreed. Both beating similar teams by similar scores.
Well, Notre Dame traveled to Evanston and lost 18-14, in a game in which Scane scored 10. Ten. My guess is Notre Dame manages to win this one.
I agree, I believe the Tigers get welcomed to the ACC with a running clock by the start of the 4th quarter. Wolak and Choma should both have a day !

I was at the game the last time Choma and Lamparter played in high school. Lamparter held Choma’s team to three goals. Don’t remember how many Choma had. I think that’s the farthest east I’ve ever been on Long Island. It was a long drive, but well worth it. Great game.

BC-UNC is probably the top fight on the card for Friday's games but I'm pretty interested in the preliminary bout of Clemson-Virginia too. Am pulling for Clemson just because of all the abuse they took for dipping their toe in the waters of D1 level competition rather than diving in head first. Can Clemson beat Virginia? I think they're going to, Clemson 17 - Virginia 5.

17-5??

Don’t know about that.

I think Clemson gives them a good game, but UVA wins by at least several goals, maybe more.

Hold Virginia to 5? That is bold.

Clemson gives them fits early, but UVA cruises in second half. 16-9

I'm not sure that Clemson will hold Clark to five. UVA 14-10. I think the Notre Dame score will chasten Virginia enough to avoid the trap.

Nice win for Loyola yesterday, but only caught the first half. Looks like decent scoring distribution too.

Been reading alot about "reloading"....Seems like (at least with the small sample size) Loyola may have done that (to some degree). Lots of big shoes to fill on the offense, but the strength is still in the Defense, the goalie and the assisted goals. We will see how they do against Florida and then Cuse...I think Florida is a toss up, Cuse a heavy favorite. Only other game that should cause concern is Princeton. Could finish 15-2 or 17-3, if they can avoid tripping up (Georgetown, Penn State, etc.)

Teams should be noticing production from #7 and 11, focusing on shutting them down....will put more pressure on #9 and 22 to carry the team a bit more.

You said it perfectly. I think 22 will have a great year and will hit her peak late in the season. Watched 35 a lot in high school and she was amazing. Good to finally see her get consistent minutes. I think she knows her role and will buy into it. 15 doing well so far. I want to see 5 do more.

I saw a lot of 5 in high school. By her senior year, she had become a heckuva player, one of the best in the state. Maybe she will have a similar trajectory in college. Hope so, as she is one of my favorites.

Loyola is getting another top New Jersey player next year in Delaney Jackson. She might be one of those players who is even better in college than she was in high school.

I have faith I think she’s very good and hasn’t been playing bad. Just waiting for a big game from her.

I'm thinkin' I was being a little overly optimistic, vision a little blurred by hope, with my call on the Heels v Tigers game so I'm going to change it.
15-5, Tigers.

One of my favorite defenders in this frosh class #4 Paris M for Clemson. Haven't seen them yet, but I think she is gonna be a good one. A few might beat her to the goal but far fewer will have the courage to go back inside again.
