BILL CLINTON IS NOT GETTING A D*MN PASS HERE! Copy?
Bill Clinton was first on the ballot more than a quarter century ago. Before these forums existed. He's not on the ballot anywhere. And Hillary lost, get over it! Meanwhile a guy with multiple rape accusations and dozens of sexual assault accusations is on the R ballot for 2020 and you don't care. Epstein didn't kill himself.

You're the one who can't handle a teenager. The caps were to get your attention as you don't seem to grasp simple facts like Clinton's history is not germane to the current political situation.
And it's pretty telling that you couldn't respond to the actual discussion.

Donny would not be the first rich and powerful man by a country mile that paid big money to boff young women. One thing we did learn from the Bill Clinton BJ era... its just about sex and what a person does behind closed doors or the back room off the oral office is nobodies business.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 6:14 pmhttps://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles ... awsuit.pdfcradleandshoot wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 4:39 pmI responded several times... "young women"...and "paid big money to boff young women"
#1: with Epstein et al we're talking underage women, statutory rape.
#2: Bill was a dog and cheat (at best), a serial assaulter/harasser of women in subordinate, or less powerful positions. One wife. Monica was grossly inappropriate, but consensual. Other examples are more egregious than the Monica one, including crossing over into 'rape' by some definitions, though not physically forcing.
#3: Trump is a dog and cheat and is on tape claiming to assault women, and consistent with this claim, he's been accused by more than 15 women of assault, in some cases rape, by physical force. That's "at best". 3 wives, cheated on each. And he's accused, since confirmed in court, of paying off women to silence them, and/or having others do so in fraudulent schemes to 'catch and kill' their story. And that's just what we know.
None of the criminal acts are "nobodies business".

Seems we over-corrected and caused it ourselves.

Re: Climate Change & The Environment
I read the Brown letter as saying that the Earth is due for a cooling period. And that such a major climate change, if it happened (and based on geological history, eventually such would be expected to occur) would be unlike anything previously experienced by mankind in civilized history.
They are suggesting such due to normal cycles, as opposed to man-made causes. And, sure, based on historical cycles we believe happened from the geological footprint (we as an intelligent species weren't there to measure and record!), such could be expected to eventually happen. Eventually.
But I don't see anything other than that general prediction that a cold cycle could occur. Indeed, if (a huge IF) a recent short term cooling they were seeing was indeed an indication of an extended trend, it could even happen in 100 years rather than in thousands or hundreds of thousands of years. But not an actual strong prediction of such, just the possibility. A heads up to pay attention to the trend.
And no particular theory as to what is causing such change other than natural cycles, much less suggesting anything related to man's activities.
On the 'flat earth' reference, you are undoubtedly aware that holding up climate science alarms raised in the past, as if they prove that the science of today is best ignored, are indeed the propaganda of those invested in denying what the science is indeed saying. The primary drivers of such denial is the carbon industry...met unwittingly by those predisposed to distrust all non-religious authority, much less that of the 'elite' of academia and government. Those predisposed to believe conspiracy theories have a direct overlap.

But I thought all those thermometer readings were accurate and in the same place, so the science should have never changed. If it was rising right before their eyes how could they be so blind. Or maybe they only looked back 20 years where it was dropping....nah, smart people wouldn't do that. it was the 70's, they were probably just stoned.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:01 pmViews change. Actually, learned people from a couple of thousand years ago knew the Earth was a sphere. (It is an inescapable conclusion from observing multiple lunar eclipses, actually). Erastothenes actually calculated the circumference c. 240 BCE and got the number correct to around a 10-15% level. In doing so he actually had a pretty good methodology, if not imperfect (check the Wikipedia article on him to see more details). But since the vast majority of the citizenry/slaves/etc. were uneducated, there were widespread flat earth beliefs. But not within the Church (educated) nor the nobility (also educated).
