No it’s not that HE loves her. He can’t understand why EVERYONE else doesn’t love her.
So what you both are saying is you'd pick Pete over Tulsi, if you have to chose?
I am waiting for whatever inanimate object is left standing as the Democratic nominee. I have paid 0 attention to either of them. 0.

 You, me, and millions of independent voters are doing precisely that.

Although this go around, indie voters in Colorado can vote in primaries. So I have to get my act together a little earlier.....

Easily.
But Tulsi easily over Trump.
But, then again, I'd pick a lump of coal over Trump so that's not a good comparison.

So...who would I pick Tulsi over on the Dem side? (if I was a Dem), well Bernie and Liz...pretty much everyone else above 2% in the polls would get the nod first at this point.

But Tulsi over 4 more years of this mess? You betcha.

"someone"?
It was the post immediately above yours.

Whose answer wasn't "short, simple"?

I also was short, simple that I'd pick Tulsi over a number of other possibilities, including Trump.
But let me caveat that and be clear that if she runs as an independent, she's less than dirt to me.

I'd like to see her stick around and do some legislative work, earn another run in 2024 or 2028 or thereafter...

Actually given the demographic she seems to be attracting, there is a better than even chance she would pull more support from Trump than the democrat.

She opted out of running for reelection to her House seat, which pre-empted her being primaried by a popular State Senator. Because she doesn't bother with her home state (and never has) she is not real popular there and it conveniently fits her national narrative.

Just another pretty face with very thin credentials. Her family and personal ties to extreme Hinduism also doesn't help. She has ZERO Chance to be the nominee or even a pace on the ticket.

Gabbard won the the Democratic primary, a year ago, 2018, by garnering 83% of the vote. Yeah, not real popular. Why the lies ?

Just another pretty face with very thin credentials. Wow, just wow. Her family and personal ties to extreme Hinduism also doesn't help. What a biggot, Obama's 20plus year membership is an extremist "christian" cult was fine tho She has ZERO Chance to be the nominee or even a pace on the ticket. No kidding, what a prediction. Furthering the demise of the once great Democratic party. I still blame Speilberg for the timing of the release of Lincoln.....surprised Hillaryous clinton didn't blame him too....for her loss. Maybe in the next book.

Nah, I'm not a buyer of that notion, 72.
I understand who you mean, but those folks are going for Trump no matter what...they just like Tulsi best of the Dems.

Let's take a very unscientific poll...how many Trump voters in 2016 here on fanlax, who would vote Trump over a D other than Tulsi, would now vote for Tulsi over Trump? Speak up guys...

I'm thinking it's minuscule at best. If you don't want Trump because you realize he's grotesquely inappropriate to the office, you vote D no matter what this next time. Or don't vote. I don't see her pulling Trump voters away from him who would otherwise have pulled the lever for him over a D.

If you don't see the 'grotesque' argument, either you actually like the jerk or you like the economy and your tax cuts or you like your judges, and Tulsi doesn't pull you away. Maybe, just maybe, there are a few isolationist folks who are Trump supporters who might consider her ok next to Trump, but he's your guy if you think the Russians are the good guys...he's actually delivering the goods...

It gets more hazy when you get out on the edges with Bernie or Liz as the candidate, but I think those voters get even more anxious and go Trump.

Pretty much every model says you win Wiscy, you win the WH.

Marquette polls for Wiscy, Trump vs. Biden:

August Biden +9.
October Biden +6.
November Trump +3.

December just out -- Biden +1.

Booker, Mayor Pete, Warren -- all -1.

Bernie -2.
Boycott stupid. If you ignore the gator troll, eventually he'll just go back under his bridge.

glad Biden is making a semi-rebound, but I worry that he'll wear down under the Hunter stuff.
Hope not, as it does appear that he'll end the nomination.

Interesting that Warren is only -1. I would have guessed worse.

Booker and Mayor Pete far less known.
I think Pete with time will wear well in most states.

The question is going to be what happens when someone goes hard to head for some months...

That's when I think Bloomberg would do best...head to head with Trump as the binary choice.

Consistent with the negative partisanship model. Basically no swing voters, so Dem nominee doesn’t matter all that much.
