Good. I’ve always worked for my food.
Thanks for reminding folks that while they're pushing poor people toward hunger by kicking them off food stamps the Trump administration is firing off welfare checks to farmers to keep them from getting mad about how the tariffs are bankrupting them.

This should make us all feel real safe

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/201 ... akers-say/

Trump's use of an unsecured cell phone likely means that the Rooskies and Chinese (as well as many other bad actors and also allies) know more about his activities and conversations that investigators do.

The claim is he does this to keep his conversations and phone records out of the possession of his staff (all AMERICANS) out of fear the material might get leaked to the media....which he apparently thinks is more worrisome than the Russians/Chinese.

Swell.

Not only is he giving billion dollar welfare checks to corporate farmers, he is also maintaining the three martini lunch welfare giveaways to corporate elites.* No objection, of course, from the far right which always claim to be so free and independent of government largesse.

*Both policies increase the national debt that he pledged to end.

We're safe. Trump's staffers don't trust him enough to tell him anything of importance.

Even if using a secure cell up, unless both parties are on a secure line (or device), they are vulnerable.
Rule of thumb -- unless both parties are on a secure landline, don't say anything that will help the bad guys.
That's nothing new. When calling a govt #, you're greeted with "this is not a secure line."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/na ... story.html

Former officials said Trump has provided his private cell number to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but it’s unclear whether he has had conversations with those leaders on his cellphone. Four people in communication with him in recent months said that he continues to use that device routinely.

John F. Kelly, then White House chief of staff, and intelligence officials made a concerted attempt in 2017 to get Trump to use secure White House lines, even after the president had retreated to the residence in the evenings, officials said. But when Trump realized that this enabled Kelly to compile daily logs of his calls, and the identities of those he was speaking to, Trump became annoyed and reverted to using his cellphone, officials said. “He was totally paranoid that everyone knew who he was talking to,” a former senior administration official said.

Aides were so determined to push the president to use hardened landlines that they gave him a tutorial on how foreign governments could listen to his calls, former administration officials said. Aides said that Trump’s habits improved but that he still frequently used a cellphone they viewed as less safe.

The president now uses a government cellphone that is hardened and routinely scrubbed, administration officials say, but it is still viewed as less safe than using the hardened lines.

I used Bronx Colors to baste my Thanksgiving Turkey. It came out a beautiful golden brown, but tasted like an old buzzard.

Because what he's talking about is lowering energy efficiency standard that would make American businesses more competitive.

Costing consumers, and filling more landfills.

Who cares?

Yes...b/c an incandescent bulb chews up a lot of real estate, as compared to the millions of boxes thrown in the trash by Amazon shipping....daily. Remember afan....we are also in a negotiating state with Jhina, let's help Americans grow and stop relying on the Chicoms for everything.

Quite a lot went in to it But sales was not their goal, saturating the market 'globally' was key, and hooking people into loans for those global sales, was crucial. DId I miss something, other than labor costs.
