Hounds just signed Josh Fairey - LSM Defender from Guelph, Ont and the Hill Academy to an NLI.

LSM, who was on the U19 Men’s Field National Champions. He came to the right place, where Loyola LOVES it's LSMs!

Hounds showcased 11 NLI signees yesterday to their IG page yesterday. My question is- what happened to Gunnar Cheuvront? Where's his NLI? His bio says he committed to us last december and not a peep yesterday

An athletic 2-way middie. Well rounded. Also in the style of the Hounds, ready to run...and flip.

Hounds just signed Luke Staudt, a goalie from West Gennessee to an NLI.

Nice to see the West Genny pipeline to Loyola is still open. Luke chose Loyola over Syracuse, Brown, Richmond, Army and Yale.

Welcome to Evergreen, Luke!

It isn't that obvious from his tape, but maybe the best thing this kid does is play some of the most tenacious, aggressive defense I've ever seen a middie play. He's not the biggest kid, but he plays big boy defense - great kid too, respectful, hard working. You're going to love Daubert.

That's awesome! Sounds like a kid that can thrive at Loyola.
Toomey and Co value kids who can play tough defense. Very exciting to hear about his defensive prowess too!

I read on one of these blogs that there is also a follow up spring “signing”.
And I recall from the old LP days that they flagged their recruit database with spring signings/commits.

VA, Hopkins, Rutgers, Towson and Duke is an entertaining way to open a season.

And I'm pretty sure we've seen the end of the Hounds playing Hopkins at the end of the regular season.

Both teams probably understand.

Playing the Jays late usually doesn't do much for Loyola in the eyes of the seeding committee when they win. And I'm sure JHU knows their best bet of winning probably comes by catching the Hounds early.

We're destined to have to shiver during this game.

Isn't a win vs Hopkins, no matter who plays them, considered a quality significant win in terms of being an NCAA hopeful?

Really excited for this ‘20 class to get on campus, especially on the defensive side. Bean is a bigger, athletic kid who is still pretty raw, and has tons of potential. The kid from hill is very highly regarded, and is seen as one of the most underrated recruits in the class. Saffin should be a very promising ssdm(which you can never have enough nowadays). Lastly, Staudt might be the most exciting guy for us in the class. Top 5 ranked goalie in the country despite limited exposure, and will be walking into maybe the biggest position of need on the roster
