Curios. What practices would the lacrosse team be participating on on August 19th? The date the incident too place? Was it a camp?

a case could be made that 18 (or even 20, though very high side) would work, but then again you may end up just adding another each from acc, b1g, ivy and we'd have the same scenario, just with lower finishers from those conferences getting included.
A few years back the NCAA lax committee chair was pushing hard for an expansion to 18 or 20, but couldn't get it to happen. Most sports are at closer to 20% of teams in the tournament than 25%. My guess is that we'll need to get to 80 DI teams before the tournament expands beyond 16.

Can't wait. I'd love to see him at attack on the right side (post-Teat).
As I posted on 11/20 - think Mac O'Keefe!

Great video on Cornell lax twitter of the traditional mid-week (pre-Thanksgiving) early AM run around campus.

College Crosse has released their pre-season AA picks. Salvatore named first team lsm, but is the only Cornell player selected-- no Teat.

A list without Teat is going to fuel motivation for him and his teammates

Rory Graham, Jack Follows, and Andrew Dalton made the 32 man Canadian U 19 squad. One more cut left.

Is Cornell the only Ivy that does not have an indoor practice facility, either existing or under construction?

I believe that Cornell has that dubious distinction.
FYI - the Ramin Room (the x yard indoor room which has limited lax functionality) was made even smaller a few years ago when a decision was made to update the existing rock climbing wall by building it further out from one perimeter wall. Hmmmm...

another fan - I know you have seen it, but for those who have not, google Hobart College (60 minutes north in Geneva) and take a look at their 2 year old, beautiful indoor facility. One would think that Cornell could marshal the resources to build a similar facility.

Any scrimmages scheduled prior to first game vs Albany?

I believe they have two scrimmages. One, on Feb 1 in Rochester vs Cortland and another D3 school. Two, on Feb 8 there is a Red v White intrasquad at the Kopf. Times still TBD.

Continuing the pattern of limited preseason love for the Big Red, IL's preseason AA list has Teat on the third team and Salvatore and Fletcher at HM. Nice, though, to finally see Fletcher get some recognition.

Yesterday QK had Cornell at 13 in his preseason picks, but he said he was optimistic in his gut about Cornell because defense and face offs were the problems last year, and they must have improved because they could not be worse this year!

another fan - I read the article this AM and had the similar thoughts.
I'm sure the boys will go in to the season with a giant chip on their shoulders. Good.
While I'm confident that they will, the early season schedule is brutal...in terms of both opponents and venue. Then they open the Ivy season with Yale and Penn.
As for some of the slights, Sam Handley is a first team middie? Someone is smoking "funny cigarettes." I guess the author missed how he finished up last season. Personally, I'll take Fletcher any day. As an aggressive downhill dodger who goes both left and right, he almost always draws a double. 'Creates opportunities elsewhere that are easy to go unnoticed.

Just saw the preseason team. It ultimately doesn’t matter and all that but surprised Teat was Third team. (Also a little surprised at Fake as second team not first)

Can’t argue w Teat not being first team but IMO as great as Asher Nolting is I don’t think he’s better than Teat. Not that Teat is in bad company w Moore there. I’m sure Hop fans will but out about Epstein being HM, welcome to the world of not making the playoffs

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Sounds like the other D3 school is York. Any further info as to where and when?
