I do not know. I would guess that Harris' arguments last night represents the thinking of a good number of democrats at the party level. Rank and file members I would guess are uncomfortable with her flip flop on some positions she previously held (LGBTQ and abortion). They are certainly suspicious of these changes of heart. In my opinion she suffers from being a relative unknown looking for a quick way to the top. Her trashing the party doesn't help her even a little bit, especially in the age of Trump.
More lies.

Tulsi Gabbard flip flop on positions? You make claims, but don't support them with facts. Sad scientist.

What were Bidens positions on lgbtqwz when Tulsi was 20 years old ? exactly

Democratic party NEEDS to be trashed........and noticed you haven't answered the simple questions from yesterday.

Isn't it amazing how none of the other candidates constituents have the same feeling towards all the others running who hold office.........or, you COULD just make that up about them too......

Afraid Tulsi will take your D.O.D. binky welfare away? :o
Have no idea what you are trying to say. Its an observation. Tulsi took a hit last night.

Biden is a known trusted quantity by the democratic base, even with his foibles. That should not be so hard to understand. Tulsi is a largely unknown quantity. She is not going to be given the benefit of the doubt by the base, especially when trashing the party. This is human nature 101. You don't like it, take it up with the human race.

Ain't it funny how on this forum how the FLP folks tell us how refreshing it is when a Republican trashes the Republican party. When a Democrat criticizes the Democrat party... they are low life buckets of scum that should be hated and despised for the traitors they are. ;)

Tulsi's plan for health care -
Guarantee quality healthcare for all
Everyone deserves quality healthcare in our country. As president, I will work to ensure all Americans have that quality healthcare through a single-payer system that is incentivized to increase health and prevent and heal disease, whilst allowing individuals to access private insurance if they choose.
Klobuchar's plan for healthcare
Bringing down the cost of health care for everyone by putting a non-profit public option in place that allows people to buy into affordable health insurance coverage through Medicare or Medicaid.

Improving the Affordable Care Act to help bring down costs for consumers by expanding premium subsidies and providing cost-sharing reductions to lower out-of-pocket health care costs like copays and deductibles.

Making it easier for states to put reinsurance programs in place that protect against premiums going up for everyone due to a small number of patients with extremely high health care costs.

Prioritizing delivery system reform so that health care delivery rewards the quality of care instead of the volume of services.

Putting key consumer protections in place like stopping surprise medical bills that include unexpected charges and stopping the sale of junk health insurance plans.

Addressing disparities in maternal and infant mortality and addressing the shortage of maternity care health professionals in underserved rural and urban areas.

Strengthening Medicare and providing incentives for getting the best quality health care at the best price and expanding coverage for dental, vision and hearing under Medicare.

Creating a refundable tax credit to offset long-term care costs and reducing the costs of long-term care insurance.

Lifting the ban on Medicare negotiations for prescription drugs by passing and signing into law Senator Klobuchar’s Empowering Medicare Seniors to Negotiate Drug Prices Act.

Allowing personal importation of safe drugs from countries like Canada by passing and signing into law Senator Klobuchar’s bipartisan Safe and

Affordable Drugs from Canada Act.

Stopping pharmaceutical companies from blocking less-expensive generics by passing and signing into law Senator Klobuchar’s bipartisan Preserve

Access to Affordable Generics Act and Biosimilars Act.

Allowing the temporary importation of drugs that have been approved in another country with similar safety requirements and face little or no competition in the United States by passing and signing into law Senator Klobucar’s bipartisan Short on Competition Act.

Addressing abuses and delay tactics that prevent generic companies from performing the necessary testing and distribution necessary for U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval.

Taking on mental health and addiction by launching new prevention and early intervention initiatives, expanding access to treatment, and giving all Americans a path to sustainable recovery.

Stopping the concerted attack to undermine and eliminate a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions.

Investing in Alzheimer’s research with the goal of putting us on a path toward developing a cure and treatment by 2025.

Expanding rural health care by revising Medicare rules so that our rural hospitals can stay open, providing better support to critical access hospitals and community health centers, and expanding telehealth services.
Tulsi "looks" good and "sounds" good, but she is extremely thin on this issue.

Hillary 100% sold the DNC to Wall Street and the MIC. Tulsi threatens that. The party doesn't like it. Same reason they torpedoed Bernie.

The other guy who won't fall in line - Yang --- they simply ghosted him last night.

The only issue she is not thin on is the military intervention issue. If that is your only issue, she makes a lot of sense as a candidate. For the majority of democrats, they are not one issues candidates, unless that issue is named Donald Trump.

I couldn't care less about Tulsi, since she's a complete non-player going nowhere.

But her profile is just weird for a female Dem candidate. Her small base is almost completely comprised of Trumpy older white men.

Tulsi’s Statements/Video
"Caring about and for our fellow Americans is the highest form of patriotism. So as president I will not tolerate big pharma ripping off the American people, families going broke because of medical bills or seniors who have to choose between paying for food or medicine."
https://youtu.be/UY_lrd7yKE4
“Too many people in this country are getting sick without the care that they need. As president, I will work to ensure all Americans have quality healthcare incentivized to increase health and prevent and heal disease.” https://twitter.com/tulsigabbard/status ... 7893372930
“No one should be forced to choose between putting food on the table and paying for life-saving medication. But that’s exactly what’s happening to millions of Americans as a result of Big Pharma’s chokehold on Medicare. They’ve managed to buy access into Congress, barring the government from negotiating cheaper prices for consumers, so they can continue to price-gouge those trying to buy life-saving medication and rake in profits at the expense of the American people.”

“If you look at other countries in the world who have universal health care, every one of them has some form of a role for private insurance.”
https://khn.org/news/medicare-for-all-e ... ic-debate/
Tulsi: “It's time for the United States to guarantee #MedicareForAll. I'm proud to cosponsor H.R. 676, The Expanded & Improved Medicare For All Act, that would extend healthcare coverage to the millions of uninsured and underinsured people across our nation.” https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status ... 1552284672
Tulsi: “Eight years ago the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, extending health insurance to millions of Americans for the first time. Today, we're fighting for the 28 million Americans who are still uninsured and millions more who are underinsured. It's time for #MedicareForAll.” https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status ... 8065056769

But her profile is just weird for a female Dem candidate. Her small base is almost completely comprised of Trumpy older white men.

Yup.
Ms. Grace Haley, you got some explaining to do:

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/report ... men-donors

When the scienctists on these threads divide $1.3 million (woman donors) by 3.38 million (male donors), pretty sure they will come up with 31 percent. 7 percentage points MORE than the 24% that Ms. Haley attributes to Gabbards fundraising.

Why the difference?

exactly
