cute, but you do NOT do this.
quick, what kind of bike do you use? How are your batteries linked up? (it's ok if you don't know this, especially if you hired someone to install your bike charging station )

You post was nothing new is the point. Mr. Newman could have manufactured his product without a patent. MANY Company’s that have highly proprietary IP, sometimes choose not to file a patent because it requires disclosure and people can see the “product” and design around the patent. I always wondered what became of him because I found it interesting. Didn’t you?

Don't recall this event...at all.
But, installing a device that reduces energy consumption........possibly most of it.....isn't consumer worthy? Why? I mean, it would be like installing a 99% effecient HHO system.....which exists???? THIS is my point.
Remember the information about wood stoves and how the EPA, once again attacking the poor, made illegal certain wood stoves. Does the EPA have it's own bullet supply like other alphabet departments ?

Notice how the Obama administration offered wood stove owners a ZERO interest loan , up to $20k, to install more effiecieant systems.
It would only require $250 billion for this program. Why didn't it happen?
Oh, rite....wall street needed the money, damn the environment.

Neat outside the box thinking. This is not however a use of artificial intelligence. They are using adaptive optics (computer controlled). Astronomers have been using these techniques in their telescopes for 20 years. Another government funded science application with a huge payoff.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 3:17 pm https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/19/business ... index.html

Basically, four cameras equally spread outside the focal point simultaneously measure each mirror's alignment in real time, and constantly make real time alignments to each and every one of them. Article said computing power available 5 years ago would be insufficient to what they actually need to operate...

So where is the artificial intelligence? A computer making optical alignment adjustments doesn't seem to be anything new to me. More computing power may be needed, but that doesn't make the concept something new. What am I missing? Artificial intelligence to me is more a marketing term than a scientific or engineering term. You put it on a business plan to get funding.RedFromMI wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:12 pmActually it is, and it relies on it (better article with explanation of AI aspect in more detail: https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/ ... liogen-csp)jhu72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:04 pmNeat outside the box thinking. Hey the Chicoms love coal. It may fail in the US but it ain't dead yet. Hey 72, why don't ya take a vacation to China and educate them about the errors of their ways. You could stop in Hong Kong and also give your moral support as needed there. I'm confused, I have no idea what side you would be on there. Never mind, carry on.jhu72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:43 pmWhat a bummer. http://www.drroyspencer.com/category/blogarticle/ I had to post this for you 72 with love and kisses. Maybe a substandard scientist such as yourself can read and maybe learn something.
Great observation from Professor Jacobs...
“..if at this stage of the game, given what we know about how social media work and about the incentives of the people who make TV, you’re still getting your dopamine rush by recycling TV-news clips and shouting at people on the Internet, you’re about as close to beyond hope as a human being gets. There is no point talking to you, trying to reason with you, giving you facts and the sources of those facts. You have made yourself invulnerable to reason and evidence. You’re a Moab truther in the making. So, though I do not in theory write anyone off, in practice I do. It’s time to give you up as a lost cause and start figuring out how to prevent the next generation from becoming like you.”
