I bet the Chicoms even let her make a major speech in front of their government leaders. I am certain they would appreciate listening with open arms to this young woman's message.

Drilling boom adds stress to U.S. western water supplies: report
About 60% of federal oil and gas drilling leases offered since 2017 are located in areas that are at risk of shortages and droughts, according to a report released on Tuesday.
Oil and gas producers using the hydraulic fracturing process typically pump a concoction of water, chemicals and proppants into underground reservoirs to break open rock formations and increase pressure, forcing hydrocarbons to the surface.
The average fracking job now consumes 13 million gallons (49 million liters) of water, up 40% in two years https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... SKCN1QZ0B6, according to a Reuters analysis of Permian producers’ data reported to FracFocus.org.

How is the weather? Really cold. I wish I was in a warmer climate. How easy is that?

the water used in well completions (fracs) is not pulled out of rivers or lakes, it is sourced from underground aquifers. The land owners who lease their land to the oil and gas companies typically REQUIRE the drillers to agree to drill water wells on their land and pay them additional money for the water they use to drill and complete their wells. Those water tables are closely monitored for their recharge rates to ensure they are not depleted, and often the water produced is brine-ish in quality.
The spin doctors producing that study are looking at the surface (that is basically a desert) and conflating that with what it happening underground. Most of west Texas is sitting on top of one of the largest water aquifers in the country - while the surface is arid and frequently in drought conditions. The two have nothing to do with one another. The author(s) are either stupid or disingenuous.

Does drilling holes deep into the bowels of that ice also expose scary stuff?
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

I did. The very last fall. It was easier to cut the grass and pick up what leaves were left. Killed two birds with one stone! I use an electric blower, edger and hedge clippers but still use a gas lawnmower. It ain’t all or nothing for me. Every incremental bit helps!ABV 8.3% wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 10:58 am"....MAY, have caused anthrax outbreak...."

what fuel source provides your electricity ? also, why do ANY of the work and leave the leaves where they are? Why is it so important to have a putting green for a lawn? Neighbors complain....can't have THAT.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 11:03 amI did. The very last fall. It was easier to cut the grass and pick up what leaves were left.
