I was torn on this one, but I have to go with it, because for this pick, "The ceiling is the roof..."

One of my favorite phrases! An engineer argued that it's true! Mike had one too many....
“I wish you would!”
Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
UNC has three attackmen in the top 40. Two have been taken.
Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Only 2 have been playing attack in practice and scrimmages for the most part so far. Solomon has "started" both scrimmages and has over 6 goals and a few assists.

Another "If he was the first pick I wouldn't even flinch".

Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Just an observation. I understand why he was picked.
Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
This is why i didn't get the rating of the other UNC attackman as being 'could have gone first pick', he's behind solomon in UNC nevermind anyone elseMatnum PI wrote:Another "If he was the first pick I wouldn't even flinch".
Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
My thought too
Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
UNC starting attack this year looks to be Matthews, Kelly and Trippi. Two are seniors so space for Jacob K and Solomon next year.Uklax wrote:This is why i didn't get the rating of the other UNC attackman as being 'could have gone first pick', he's behind solomon in UNC nevermind anyone elseMatnum PI wrote:Another "If he was the first pick I wouldn't even flinch".

Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Nice pick. Coyne was the other guy I considered.
As for UNC attack....Kelly may move back to midfield...

Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
For the record, before I pick tomorrow, I want to make it clear that I do not desperately need a quality attackman and that I was not bothered in the least that the two picks directly before me were Solomon and Coyne. Didn't want either of them.

I don't see Kelly moving to midfield. I think starting midfield is Cook, Perry and Anderson. For the next two seasons.nclaxin wrote:Nice pick. Coyne was the other guy I considered.

Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Uklax, I certainly understand where you are coming from and can see your point. However, think about it this way, if you picked Jimmy Bitter with your first pick in 2011 and someone else took Joey Sankey after that would either one have been a bad pick? Now, there was more room for immediate playing time back then but I think both Solomon and Kelly will turn out to be solid producers. Plus, truth be told, I'm a huge fan of the Kelly family and was happy Jacob was available when my turn came.Uklax wrote:This is why i didn't get the rating of the other UNC attackman as being 'could have gone first pick', he's behind solomon in UNC nevermind anyone elseMatnum PI wrote:Another "If he was the first pick I wouldn't even flinch".

Re: 2019 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
CalLax, agreed. depending on a FR to put up big points is not a good situation. More often than not, they're on the bench. SR, JR and, maybe SO years, if they put up big points, they were well worth it. i can see both kelly and Solomon putting up big points as their years progress.
Kinduv, it looks like you're going to cruise to another championship season. well done, my friend.
