Try flying at 1000 feet over an airport with commercial traffic...and ignoring ATC. Also, it ain't private industry who steps in after an air crash to investigate, and then after actually figuring out what went wrong makes sure if changes in either craft or personnel are needed they happen.

I am guessing that you are not a pilot; if you are, my apologies, but by your post I have to assume you aren't. There is something called Class G airspace which is completely uncontrolled airspace...ie: no control by anyone other than your eyes and common sense; it doesn't mean it is unregulated, but effectively it is. I have flown in Class G airspace under the 4L approach to JFK.

That was not my point however. My point is that aviation software is making controllers redundant and unnecessary, not to mention making all of us safer by removing humans and human error.

I am not a pilot. And yes I know there is a lot of space that the government _chooses_ to not regulate. But I don't believe any of it sits on top of an airport. And even class G has a rather low altitude limit...

Your confidence in software is commendable - but it will be some time before the FAA turns over all the regulated airspace to completely human-free operation.

And of course there are other areas over which even ATC will not let you go - like flying over the White House...or anywhere near Area 51...(actually the military will have something to say about that flying...)

Some cynics call Democrats "socialists" or "Marxists" for advancing Social Security. Little do these fools know that SS was initially proposed by that Marxist Founding Father Thomas Paine several years before Marx was born:

Hasidim are among the most Conservative Religious Groups in America and the World. So are the LDS. Both rely on welfare. Is welfare an outcropping of the Socialist Mountain?

The Hasidim readily accept public assistance. The Mormon Church created a member-driven,self-funding form of welfare that is IMO, brilliant

Best to put that"Democrats are Socialists" broad brush away.

Interesting to find out how many CEOs are Democrats. Yes I know corporations never have, and never will accept GOVERNMENT dole-outs.JAMAIS, JAMAIS JAMAIS.

Maybe I don’t know the LDS issue well, but I always thought they handled their ‘welfare’ internally, and of course are by far the most generous charitable donors among all religions in America.

So far as Hasidim, it’s not a secret that they game the welfare system in order to not work. Most of the men in places like Kiryas Joel study the Torah all day. Not working has never seemed to me to be ‘conservative’ but I could have missed that lesson.

Give Israel a look...plenty of non-working, full time religious zealots. Wonder if any of US money offsets their pursuit of the word of God?

Of course, in this they are hardly alone as downtown Manhattan is largely owned by Trinity church, Columbia U, and NYU. Because these are "church" owned they profit from activities which are tax exempt.

USA taxpayers finance their universal health care while refusing to pay the same for Americans who need similar coverage.

Mormons and the Haredi are considered by many to be somewhat anachronistic in many respects. Both are welfare reliant to some extent. But the approaches are quite different.

Abortion for FREE:

Shhh! Don’t Tell Evangelical Supporters of Israel, but Abortion There Is Legal — and Often It’s Free
Neither religious conservatives nor liberal feminists are completely satisfied with the status quo in the Jewish state, but the current system allows some 40,000 women to have abortions annually

Forum right wingers will love to know that their tax dollars finance Israel's FREE abortions.

Odd source material. Pro life or pro abortion, I've never seen someone excited to report that there were 40K abortions last year. Or use it as a "gotcha!"

Given the history of WW2, it's doubly odd that so many Israelis would choose to participate in mass genocide yearly.

The courts will be interesting to wartch in the US. It appears the right has stacked them enough that some minor changes to abortion law could be coming. Major changes could be coming if Trump wins another 4 years.

....and in the same breath the left could not even clap, much less stand and clap, when POTUS mentioned banning LATE TERM abortion, when a human being is developed enough to enter this world and has a beating heart. Quite embarrassing.

Not an "odd" source but right from the proverbial horse's mouth.

Israelis do not see this medical procedure as "mass genocide". Furthermore, the reason why the Israeli government gives it away for free (though at a cost to you the American taxpayer) to young women at ages 18-33 is because these are the years in which young women there can get conscripted. The freebie serves as an incentive so that the ladies can be more readily available for the IDF.

Personally, I do not get "excited" to make this report since I am a pro lifer. However, I do recognize that the procedure was legal under the Anglo Saxon common law and this makes it constitutional. Most conservatives claim to subscribe to "original intent" which means they should recognize it as constitutional as well, that is if they are principled which they are not all too often.

Many lefties view the dropping of bombs in imperialistic wars of colonialist terrorism over the heads of pregnant women and little children as abortion. This while so many delusional righties see this as the righteous work of divinely inspired do goodies who are out to save the world from the imaginary thralldom of Islam.

Oh by the way, did you ever find those illusory WMD in Iraq or proofs of gas attacks in Syria? World War III and Armageddon are a big price to pay because of all those schizophrenic reports used to "justify" the so called preemptive attacks based on Bush and Trump's hallucinations which are even more embarrassing than anything else.
