i dunno. i can't say with any certainty what she was thinking, i dont konw her and never met.
in fact, i've been told many times now that there are so many racists in this country. why not her. she's white after all...
(exactly)
nah, that's the problem with the 'faux outrage' crowd on the right, everything exaggerated to the extreme.
Very hypocritical.
Yes, PB, I'd noted as well that Obama had taken the hyper "woke" crowd to task for their demands for 'purity'.
But that crowd is way, way smaller than you seem to think. Moreover, they do at least have an intent of making the world a better place...they just get too demanding of perfection. Obama has particular weight on the left as he's well to the left of some of the party, so particularly good for him to admonish the hyper-crew.
However, I assume you guys really do understand that, for instance, a 'white' Steve King is evaluated not on the basis of his being 'white' but rather on what he has said and supported.
It's 'faux outrage' to try to suggest that the left conflates 'white' with 'racist'. Most don't.
Just as it's dumb for the hyper-woke crowd to assume all white folks are equivalently impaired in their understanding of racism and their relative perspective on such.
Extremes are the problem; just don't play it in reverse.
