Obama was a politician. He was an entertainer. (tRump is a sod, no WH concerts. No NPR concert series ) Did I mention he lied?

https://qz.com/840337/the-us-government ... e-prisons/

Critics have long denounced private prisons in the US as unsafe, inefficient and at times, inhumane. Those critics, who include inmates and activists, seemed to find a powerful ally earlier this year when the Department of Justice announced it would phase out its use of private prisons for federal prisoners. This wouldn’t mean the end of privately-run incarceration facilities (they’re also used by immigration authorities and states), but it was seen as a step forward. Except, that when the first contracts came up for re-negotiation this fall, the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) quietly decided to renew them anyway.

Not surprised though, that you think Obama did something about illegal detention and prison contracts. (that you focus on the lies. the promises ) Hopkins fans are used to promises. . The reality of decades long pathetic seasons and "we feel sorry for you" NCAA invites is ignored. At least they kept this years first round loss to single digits. :D

Something about an impeachment vote.....today......thrown in the trash. Whats THAT all about taats?

US House tables impeachment resolution against Trump
The House voted 332 to 95 in favor of tabling the impeachment resolution. 137 Democrats voted with Republicans to kill the resolution, whereas 95 Democrats voted to consider the issue of impeachment.

Kelly Anne Conway may or may not be a TAATS :?:, or defend all you TAATS or have accurately scribed an Italo-Irish translation/prolegomenon of your beloved TAATS Bible. I can assure you she never attended the Yale Divinity School like you nor did she play 12 years in the NFL. She didn't jump out of airplanes as you so bravely did during the never-ending, Afghan war.

Our fake family was quite eager to meet such a BRAVE BOY, face to face. The FINALS would have been an ideal venue. We wanted to see if you had the balls to repeat what you wrote about us. I peg your as gutless twerp, who'd dramatically deny your hatred. Perhaps someday fate will intervene so we can meet.

Conway is as disgusting a mass of protoplasm that has ever breathed air. Nonetheless, she is twice the man you'll ever be.

More TAATS. Especially #3.
It appears that elected officials can say whatever they want without any retribution. A politician can make a derogatory, incendiary or racist remarks at will. Everyone will be angry, the media goes wild, but nothing really happens.

Trump is inspiring others. All the posters here are taking their cues from Trump...even the ones that purportedly LOATHE him!

Are your GOP buddies scurriying like rats, like mine are?

"remember when tRump lied (spoke) ,when signing the record spending budget, "Never again, never, never", shaking his head in the negative, "nope, never, ever, never ever again " Might just have to visit bandito in prison, tell him the great news :D

A certain caucus held an event last nite, spent 6 figures on food and drink. Ah.....great to be back in DC and feasting. Hope they get to write it off.

But, either way, thank you for supporting a chain, and NOT a locally owned restaurant.

I've never actually had it. Don't really drink booze much anymore. Did have AFANS while holding court in Jack Rose, think they only had the rye. It was ok. Into the coral reefer madness.

Climate strikes, "Medicare for All," national security whistleblowers, & Canadian blackface scandals are all distractions from the core function of D.C.: spending more money than we have.

the problems with deficit spending. The short version is that it reduces economic growth, misallocates resources, and will eventually cause inflation, higher taxes, major disruptions in programs that people rely on, or some toxic mix of all those things.

on the second article- it's a good thesis, that our officials are misbehaving and while we harp on drama, behind the curtains, there is spending, spending, and spending. they are all conflicted.

and it crosses borders too. johnson, trudeau, etc.
There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.

Anyone else notice that he plead guilty of insider trading yesterday? Rep. Collins (NY) No jail time tho....and he gets to keep his Congressional job, punishment is he can't vote. huh?

Why it's relevant that Collins was one of the first to endorse Trump, when it's a SEC, insider trading case? Why isn't the sentence " Collins is the first sitting member of Congress to be charged with insider trading" Instead, they introduce Trump. What the heck does he have to do with this?

Unless all the news stories are implying that they only went after, investigated Collins, because he endorsed Trump? Why else bring it up? A crime is a crime.....who cares who he endorsed.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/30/nyre ... ading.html

Is the MSM saying that the entire US Congress is clean as a whistle? No other "insider trading" going on? Again, why bring up Collins Trump endorsement. It's as relevant as to where he went to undergrad. To this story.

To be fair, the MSM left out that Collins made the suspect call from the WH lawn. On TV. That would have been so mean. Looks like he just resigned his seat.

Here you go again, RRR, attacking the media and throwing shade on the relevance that Trump attracts the most corrupt as his biggest proponents, allies.

Poor Donald.

Collins was the very first Congressman to go on the record supporting Trump's campaign...when you look at the trail of these jerks who gave oxygen to Trump's 'legitimacy' it really is amazing.

And, of course, as Trinity points out, Collins made the fateful call from the White House lawn...why was he there when so many others were not? See above sentence.
