Re: Holy Cross 2020
Told ya. No need for hand wringing HCBoston
Re: Holy Cross 2020
Never know when a new AD walks in the door. Pretty much solidified it when he and his assistants got Coaches of the year at HC for all sports.
Seeing a lot of talk on investing more into Lacrosse on the hill. It is a sport that they can compete at in the high level of D1 athletics with the fewest amount of scholarships. Having them crank up the scholarships with two more each year for the next 4 years will help Burke build a top program.

Fun to be an HC Lax fan last year. The seniors did a good job getting the underclassmen up to speed. Lets see what comes in this year for freshman. Burke has a good edge in New England, so hopefully that works well for the program going forward. Expecting big things from Baker this year as well, he should plug in nicely on bringing up the ball.

HCBos- agree it was fun watching last year. With most of the team returning they will be even better and expectations are high for Patriot League. Boys back on campus in a week. Let's roll!

Unfortunately it looks like Jake Engelke decided to play at St. Joseph's instead of HC. That's a big loss, he's filthy.

Re: Holy Cross 2020
HCBos- what I got is that a lot of the upper classmen are already on campus with the frosh coming in this weekend. Expectations are high both within the team and the Patriot League. I sense this has the makings of a special year.
Jake Engelke's loss on switching to St Joe's.

Now that Burke is signed the culture is set in stone. Great beginning to the new year. Great players coming back and word on the street is we have a very athletic freshman class. Great future for Holy Cross Lacrosse.
Re: Holy Cross 2020
Engelke is a great kid and fit at St Joes ; HC academics are tough
Disagree on him being filthy ; totally one handed . Let’s go Crusaders

Boys were at Gillette Stadium on the field this past Sunday for the Pats v Steeler game and assisted with the Superbowl ceremony. Great experience. Practice started on Monday. Lets go!
Re: Holy Cross 2020
I heard that our team was responsible for the win and getting AB signed.
Great start to the year for sure. I have not heard much from the hill but I am sure they are in the full swing of things.
