Not that this is possibly a GOOD thing.....What the heck afan, I think the grass has all but became nasty, tick infested, poison ivy. On the right side of your centrist fence upon which theath shall be seated . Oh, you TALK about that side of the fence, but neglect it where it matters.
170+ gop house voted for it. pretty much every gop senator did as well. tRump signed it. News......GOOD NEWS.
If you think that I'm going to get excited about them applying a temporary bandaid for an "emergency" that Trump intentionally created.....I don't know what to say. Moreover: you think this bill fixes the problem? Really? How?
Noticed you skipped right over my question to you: what was keeping them from signing this EXACT bill at any time over the last two years? Politics....they were waiting to be able to blame the Dems. And they were rewarded for doing so....and you seem to want to reward them, too.
Answer that question, and I'll be happy to discuss my centrism.
You seem to think being a centrist means to give the party that is actually in charge of our government a pass. Libs, the left, the Dems, whatever you'd like to call them have no power right now. Who has ever said "you need to speak truth to those who hold no power".
Show me the Immigration/Visa Reform bill on the floor of the Senate in 2019, and I'd push you out of the way, and cheer for the Republicans for finally addressing the problem.
Where's the bill? Trump ran on it last election, and is running on it again: with no intention of actually producing a solution. This whole thing is about votes, not solutions.
