This might be the most quintessential off season post ever.Drcthru wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:27 amWikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DecadeTypical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:14 pmKuta is right.
However, the Gregorian calendar begins with the year AD 1. (There was no year "zero", and the year before AD 1 is 1 BC with nothing in between.) Therefore, the first decade is from AD 1 to AD 10, the second decade from AD 11 to AD 20, and so on.[5] So, although "the 1960s" comprises the years 1960 to 1969, the years 1961 to 1970 comprise "the 197th decade" in the Gregorian calendar.
The name should be changed. Gregorian was a slave owner.......or dealt with slaves......or....just change the name alreadypcowlax wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 6:59 amThis might be the most quintessential off season post ever.Drcthru wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:27 amWikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DecadeTypical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:14 pmKuta is right.

It is, of course, an eponymic adjective.
That’s just Russell being Fatty.
Agreed. UVA and UNC were honorable mentions for me but... It's so hard to check their box when they've had so much talent for so long and have accomplished so little (relative to this talent). But, obviously, Lars is a major change and... UVA most certainly could equal if not top Duke and UMd.
I don't think that some team winning 3 in 10 is that unlikely. There are a number of teams that seem to maintain themselves in the top 10 and are often in the top 5. I think that it is probably as likely as not (around 50%) that some team will win 3 (or more) title in the 10 year period.
Yes, UVa is always an excellent choice, but until NoVA becomes a hot-bed they do not benefit from in-state tuition to the degree that UMD does, and for the deep-pocketed, I think Duke retains the most attractive brand outside the Ivys.
As adjectives the difference between eponymic and eponymous is that eponymic is of or relating to an eponym while eponymous is of, relating to, or being the person or entity after which something or someone is named.
