There are current investigations going on in several other countries of this POS. Acosta probably can’t be prosecuted which is unfortunate. Yup, the police fought the good fight, some of the victims fought hard, an attorney for the victims faced death threats, one dogged reporter wouldn't let it go.

The part I disagree with is the notion that the prosecutors, at all levels perhaps, simply didn't think they could win the case and were just intimidated by the money (but if they were, shame on them). Seems far more likely that heavyweights leaned on these folks, that it was made darn obvious that their careers would be destroyed and possibly worse. Big money and power, seductive. Some players may have been bought off, some scared by career threats made or implied.

BTW DOJ has a 57 page indictment drawn up and ready to go. The stench from the plea deal is worse than you think. One item for example gives Epstein and his attorneys veto powerful over the attorneys who would represent the girls. There were more than 100 witnesses interviewed and dozens of victims. In another case there was one victim and Acosta prosecuted it harshly about the same times
