And now for a completely different subject...has anyone heard, or would like to predict about the new assistants for the new head coaches that have been hired during this carousel.

Water cooler talk is that Colgate will not retain their asst coaches from last year (including the interim coach) and new HC Kathy Taylor will bring in a totally new staff.

Yes, both.

Colgate does offer scholarships for lacrosse.

Thanks for the clarification Nigel. I was living in the past regarding the Patriot League. With scholarships to give, it will be interesting to see what Colgate can do under Taylor. Her other championships were won with players mostly from Upstate NY, likely due to the division and location of the schools in Cortland and Syracuse. She should have a much wider recruiting base at Colgate.

Still conducting a "nationwide" search.

I'm not sure how well they are reviewing 2021s without a full staff. Kelley McPeake appears to be still there, but that's alot of tournaments for one coach.

Not sure if anyone else has posted this (I haven't seen it here so far), but Nicole Levy was added to the Colorado coaching staff as an assistant head coach, so congrats to her. Nice to see more SU players getting coaching gigs (and there are a bunch already). Carly Cox has also been added to that staff as the director for player development (was a player at UC from 2015-2018).

Apparently they offered it to someone. It was turned down. And then went back to the drawing board. Such a shame. Incredible institution with a poorly (at best) run athletic department. Students return next week. Hopefully they find a coach in the office when they get on campus.
