Don't' you just love all these rich politicians putting us all inside the poor box when the economy is so good, discretionary spending is up, more people are working regardless of race. The jig is up democrats, find a cause that has merit and stop using climate change to tear down capitalism at every turn.

Not only did this tactic work well for Trump....you made no such complaint when Trump did it. Care to tell me why?
BTW, Trump is now 2 1/2 years in. Can you name a Trump program that helped Trump's "forgotten voter?"
Remember them? That's ok....neither has Trump.

Love it. Proof that both sides talk out of the side of their neck.

Re: Progressive Ideology
Trump gave $16B of our tax money to those farmers that were hit really hard by some .gov policies. They'll remember that in a year and a half.
Re: Progressive Ideology
That money didn't hit but a handful of farms that weren't owned by Big Ag.
It was a giveaway to big donors, not a helping hand to small family farms that actually need the money.
That doesn't mean that those same farmers won't vote for Trump, believe you me.
And, of course, not a penny was given to the rest of us that were directly affected by the tariff game.
How's that goin' btw? China's just about to cave, right? Right?

Re: Progressive Ideology
Exactly. Red state bribe. Now he is claiming he is going to unilaterally lower capital gains tax - to make sure none of the rich folks who voted for him defect.

Just to set the record straight.
Data analysis since the 2016 election shows pretty clearly that the election day explanation that a lot of poor democratic working class folks voted for Trump was nonsense. Analysis of the actual voting and turnout numbers available now (well after the election, the final data). They (democratic working cohort) just stayed home, like so many others. There were some who voted for Trump but it was a much smaller effect. AA turnout by itself can explain Hillary's losses everywhere but Michigan where something strange clearly went on. Lots of strange things show up in the Michigan data. How did any republican get elected for anything given the Flint water supply poisoning and subsequent cover up under a republican administration - but they did.
Blaming Hillary's loss on the democratic working poor moving to Trump in big numbers is nonsense. The truly well off voted overwhelmingly for Trump which should be no surprise. The dems lost primarily because the AA base didn't vote.

True but don’t totally discount the drop off in black voters, the effect of THAT woman on the vote and the Bernie sideshow after he lost the primary.
The GOP serves the wealthy. Period.
But they base they created by going after the conservative Catholic vote on issues like abortion, the gun rights groups, the racists and bigots etc did their part to provide a base and cover for the true agenda because those issues are valued more than abstract ideas and grievances etc etc

https://news.yahoo.com/tensions-between ... 36862.html You have got to be kidding me. I thought everything in the world of LGBT communities was all sunshine, lollipops and roses. Soooo the transgender people of color are angry at the gay white men. The rainbow flag could wind up with an extra black and blue stripe at the bottom. Come on people... can't we all just get along...

Pumpkinhead comment of the week. You plainly know very little about the Brown Shirts in the 1930s. Enjoy the 4th in your jaundiced little echo room.

Strange, a search brings up Yahoo, CNN, USA Today, ABC, Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, and more running stories about incident. Those are pretty Main Stream.6ftstick wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:29 am Well bust my buttons check out the enforcement arm of the new democrat socialists.

You mention Nazis and Jews. I'm not Jewish but we were a member of a local JCC which had Nazi graffiti painted on it and bomb threats made soon after Trump was elected. There are also actual Nazis supporting Trump and right wing extremists shooting up Synagogues.
Sad.
