+1. Community -- Commitment -- Confidence -- Competence. Encouraging already on so many levels. IMHO, NSIO can rest easy regarding all flavors of media interaction -- no "open mouth, insert foot" faux pas moments from the helm to fret about in the years ahead.old salt wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:07 pmhttps://www.laxsportsnetwork.com/videos ... ht-for-him

With all this great news for Navy MLax about Joe Amplo becoming HC; Ryan Wellner staying as DC and Brad Ross becoming OC, the MLax Classes of 2012 - 2019 are lining up outside Ricketts for a "do-over".old salt wrote:
Now, for continuity, if Ryan Wellner just stays for a couple more years, before his inevitable HC opportunity.
Looks like Navy will remain a pipeline for future D I HC's.
It’s a great staff. Brad Ross is an outstanding coach.old salt wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 2:42 pm https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/coach/brad-ross/

Too bad he can’t bring Tre “Le Bazooka” Leclaire with him.old salt wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 2:42 pm https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/coach/brad-ross/

So we now have an OC in Ross, that will surely change not only practice schematics and individual development, but concepts that align with how the game has evolved in the last 10 + years. In his 2017 IMLCA presentation, the man clearly gets it and is young enough to have a pulse on the implementation and comparisons of hoops and the indoor game. Interestingly enough, some of his "standards" align with those pillars of success spoke of and coached by Meade via the Stockdale Center. Coincidence?....maybe, but who cares, plagiarism is not always a bad thing.laxxygilmore wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 1:13 pm+1 youthathletics. Well stated and exactly correct -- as usual.youthathletics wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 3:59 pmThe scorers are there and have been. You can't score when you only shoot with just the starters week in and week out. Look no further than a player like Foster who barely, if ever, saw the field in 2018, then was a bright star in 2019. Another like Spilker can shoot from outside and on the run very well, was on EMO in 2018, then gets bumped to nowhere in 2019.wrote: As always, it will be tough to find scorers,
Many of the players just need the reps and did not get them, which is why I have suggested for the past few years that the practice needed to change.
