14 recruits. IL doesn't differentiate D or LSM I guess. I'm giving the ratings just for typing practice...

Wild win by the football team yesterday. Defense that looked like warm butter 1st half did the job later on. Hope the school has retired those black unis from the recent past. I like the block B, but the helmet bear looks like it's getting a surprise proctology exam. And the school has 3 official colors: brown, white, and cardinal. Uniforms should reflect this, for all squads, male, female, and mixed. End of sartorial ramblings

Finally, the Scarlet Knights will close out October's fall competitions with a tri-scrimmage. On Sunday, October 27, RU will welcome Brown and Bryant to campus for scrimmages. Game times will be 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Fall competitions are open to the public. They will be held at the F3 Practice Field.

How far ahead are OOC schedules set? Can there be some changes if the new staff desires, or is a contract a contract? Anyone know if UMd was a one-year, or more?

Outstanding Lacrosse Weekend at Brown….the current roster was more than competitive vs. a PLL all-star team of alums such as T award winner Malloy, Aughavin and world- class goalie Jack Kelly ….Brown kept T Award winner Wisnauskas on its coaching sideline …..Brown Hall of Fame recipient Dom Starsia ( Sat. nite) was not available for coaching assistance for the alums ….the large contingent of alums was buoyed by Friday nite’s announcement of the Benjamin School’s Ivancevic’s commitment ( the highest ranked recruit left on the board) and Brown’s matching Hopkins in IL’s ranking of the ‘26 recruiting class…..almost half a million raised by Men’s Lacrosse in Brown’s recent “Bruno Gives Back Day” and a new all-encompassing network of Brown alums available for post - grad employment opportunities further bolstered the program’s reinvigoration under Coach Torpey ….with only a couple of spots left in the ‘26 class and possible highly regarded recruits switching to a Providence location the jam-packed tailgating tent post- game possessed a palpable spirit of high optimism ….
