OAR at Merriweather
REO Speedwagon and Train at Walnut Creek Amphitheater.

Great shows. Big fan of all three.
Wife and I saw REO/Train as well in Charlotte. Did the lead singer for Train's son sing a number in the concert you saw? Not bad for 12...

Yep, I even recorded it. I believe they were headed to Charlotte, after playing Raleigh. Hard to believe Kevin Cronin is 72...I feel really old now.

Van Halen ~ incredibly popular here in Lake WOEbegone. Vocals and guitar work are just awesome. This is my favorite song of theirs but, strangely, it is the one song they never play here.

Toad the Wet Sprocket

All I Want
Walk On the Ocean
Fall Down
Something's Always Wrong

Lead singer Glen Phillips is one of Rock & Roll's very rare men who sing barefooted on stage.

The duo was at the top of the charts from 2006-2009 but seemed to disappear even though they were quite busy. Lowell George's daughter Inara is a great singer. Instrumentalist Greg Kurstin is one of the very best in Rock & Roll.

Damn, I thought he gave that all up and was coaching Cuse football now.
(Probably didn't look much like this after Stanford kicked a field goal with
three ticks left to win it in the Dome...helluva choke job by Cuse).

Coffee Shop Curations on totallyradio ~ UK with disc jockeys Martha & Georgie

Experimental music largely from Brighton, England. Highly aesthetic, non commercial, incredible variation in the music. Far more than what we see in the USA. The only problem with the programming is that the two girls who are the hostesses speak in the local accent and it can be awful difficult to understand at times.

The Fratellis - their last album Half Drunk Under A Full Moon:

Half Drunk Under A Full Moon
Need A Little Love
Lay Your Buddy Down
The Last Songbird
Strangers In the Street
Living In the Dark
Action Replay
Six Days In June
Oh Roxy
Hello Stranger

Good songs but lacking the fiery high energy they were noted for in the past.

Dua Lipa is quite a story, moved to London on her own at age 15, maintained focused and has become a pretty darn big star.
Gotta hand it to her, how many 15 year olds would keep it together and make it? Father said she was a mature 15 year old, that's why he let her go.
At age 15, Lipa moved back alone to London and shared a flat with a family friend.[28][29][30][31] At Parliament Hill School she passed her A-Levels, then re-entered Sylvia Young Theatre School part-time.[30][32] She uploaded her own songs to SoundCloud and YouTube. She began posting videos of herself covering songs such as "If I Ain't Got You" (2004) by Alicia Keys and "Beautiful" (2002) by Christina Aguilera on YouTube.[20] Lipa modeled with Topshop[29] and signed with a modelling agency, helping her land a role as a singer in an ITV advertisement for The X Factor in 2013, covering the song "Lost in Music" (1979).[33][34] She acquired a producer and a manager.[5][30]

I like her. Saw her on SNL a few years ago a wondered who in the hell was that. Good performance…reminded me of seeing Edie Brickell. That was great too
