Church pastor in Southern California arrested for sexual abuse of children

The pastor of a church in Orange County has been arrested for alleged sexual abuse of two boys and investigators believe he may have other victims, officials announced late last week.

Detectives with the Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault, Child Abuse Unit say 51-year-old Juan Barrios, a resident of Riverside, sexually assaulted two brothers between 2009 and 2015 while the family was living with him at his home.

One of the young victims reported the sexual abuse in May of this year, telling authorities that the abuse started when he was just 9 years old and lasted until he was in his mid-teens.

That victim’s younger brother also came forward and reported similar claims of abuse by the same man, their family’s church pastor.

After what authorities described as a thorough investigation, detectives arrested the 51-year-old pastor on Sept. 8. He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for several sex abuse violations.

Barrios, who is currently free on $500,000 bail, has been a pastor at Iglesia de Dio Israelita in the Fullerton.

“Due to the nature of these allegations, detectives believe there could be others that Mr. Barrios victimized that have not yet come forward,” a news release from the Riverside Police Department stated.

No surprise that yet another "Christian" sexually abuses children. Imagine if he had been a Muslim -- the headlines would be hear & seen all over the world. Schools are banning drag queens and gay books... but the Christian church is where the real sexual predators are.
It has been proven a hundred times that the surest way to the heart of any man, black or white, honest or dishonest, is through justice and fairness.

Have to love the "religious" Congressman from Texas; his tagline on his private twitter account is "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. -Proverbs 1:7."

Yesterday, extending love, comfort and solace to his fellow man, he posted (as part of his official communications) this to his official twitter account:

"Lol. These Haitians are wild. Eating pets, vudu, nastiest country in the western hemisphere, cults, slapstick gangsters...but damned if they don't feel all sophisticated now, filing charges against our President and VP. All these thugs better get their minds right and their ass out of our country before January 20th."

Thought it was was fake or parody; but nope -- this is who these folks are. Nice religion.

Postscript from the Post this morning:

"Republican Rep. Clay Higgins (La.) published racist comments about Haitians on Wednesday — only to delete them after being confronted by House colleagues.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Higgins called Haitians “thugs,” called Haiti the “nastiest country in the western hemisphere,” and repeated false and dehumanizing claims about pet-eating. The remarks were called out and he deleted the post, though he has not yet issued an apology.

The sideshow unfolded on the House floor Wednesday evening as representatives convened to vote on a spending bill to avert a government shutdown. Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) confronted Higgins on the floor and asked him to take down the post.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, also a Louisiana Republican, told reporters Higgins was approached by colleagues who told him the post was “offensive.” Johnson said he then spoke to Higgins about it, after which Higgins “prayed about it and he regretted it and he pulled the post down.”

Well, OK then.

You might have accidentally stumbled across a brilliant idea. A Jeopardy style head to head match. Each party picks 3 players and Ken Jennings is the host. The losers cede the presidency to the winners. Nobody has to worry about illegals voting and trying to wrap their brains around the impossible concept of having to count ballots. :D

No need to worry about the 6 or 7 illegal immigrants trying to vote when the ex-president and a third of congress is willing to steal your vote directly from you. Along with lots of state and local reps.

God Bless America.

How is an opinion incorrect?? An opinion is merely a persons perspective on any given issue. I think you meant to say my opinion was misguided. I also think your opinions are equally as misguided. Opinions will always be subjective to how any person tends to interpret them. :D
