Looks like Catholic will be bringing in some quality transfers this year.
Billy Burton, a three-time All-Conference attack/middie from Arcadia with 127 goals and 47 assists in his career there should contribute immediately.
Attackman Dominic Cuomo, who had good minutes at Roanoke and finished up there with 26 goals and 11 assists in three seasons.
LSM Alexander Populoh, sophomore transfer from Christopher Newport. He was a high school All-American in Virginia.

Since they lost last year's starting goalie, two transfers will compete with incoming freshman Colton Manorek, a four-year starter from Catholic Memorial HS in East Weymouth, MA.
The goalie transfers are junior Nicholas Mort from Marymount, with a 12.96 GAA and a .462 save percentage in 18 career games, and grad student Liam Daley, who rostered at Stony Brook and Hobart with very little playing time.
Catholic will return virtually their entire roster from last year, losing only 5 seniors to graduation and 3 non-returnees.

Coach Donley was busy in his first year, also brought in 14 freshman to go along with these transfers. Catholic should have a deep experienced team this year.

Donley has recruited very well and many of those freshmen (now sophomores) got plenty of quality minutes last year. Catholic is very well-positioned to be a favorite for the conference title with this squad.

Completely agree with you, I think this is the start for Donley to get Catholic back to where they were 2 years ago.

I think Wilkes will be the worst team in this conference this year, lost a lot of guys didn’t bring in a super amount and the coaching is lackluster. Think Juniata leaps them this year we’ll see though

Susquehanna will be at the Headstrong event hosted by Arcadia and Haverford on October 26 at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester, PA.

Catholic will be there at the Headstrong event the next day with York, St. Mary's and Muhlenberg.

Goucher has a few graduates returning for Spring ball. I don't know exactly who will be returning.

I've heard Susquehanna is Scrimmaging Adelphi-D2 National Champs & F&M at the event for headstrong, solid two scrimmages for the Riverhawks, Catholic playing some very good teams as well vs York, Muhlenberg, St Mary's. Etown has their scrimmage vs Messiah Nov 1.

First time posting and filling in where I can. Wilkes lost 8 seniors and picked up 9 recruits. Overall a very young team with only 7-8 upper classmen on a 27 man roster (three of which are goalies). They played Alfred and PennTech Sunday, both teams with 45 man rosters. After an eye opening "welcome HS youngin's intro to college ball" first qtr., they were down 6-0 to Alfred. Once they settled in, the rest of the game was a little more even, ending 12-6.
Second game v PennTech with only a 30 minute break against a fresh, deep roster was just too much. It became a JV game for both teams as Wilkes went to their back-up goalies and at one point even had a 6 man defense of all underclassmen. To PT's credit, they were pretty sharp and disciplined. I think they had tied Alfred in the first game. It's only fall ball and the youngins' are still learning, but they showed a lot of promise and a lot more speed than last year's team. So it's early to say how they will pan out but it will be a tough season nonetheless.

As to the coaching, he's one guy with a part time assistant during season. I don't think he gets a lot of school support which is mostly geared towards football. He's not only coaching, but managing the subs, the penalty box, etc. That is tough to do let alone having to do all the recruiting. Take a look at most of the bigger programs and most have at least one grown adult seasoned coach (in addition to grad students). Catholic has 2 guys who have been there 8 years. Etown 6 yrs. Salisbury 5 coaches. Stevenson-10 coaches from 2 yr-17rs! The better programs in the top of the standings all have depth at coaching as well as players. He just needs some help!

Anyhow, nice to meet you! I'll keep my posts a little shorter next time ;)

Appreciate the reply, if he needs the help he should try harder to get said help in order to make his team better, when your 13-38 through 3 seasons after being there for almost 10 I think a change needs to be made to try and put this team on the map, no reason why they should have a roster of 27 in a very deep conference like the landmark. I know guys that have gone through this program he gets a lot of blame.

Early predictions for the conference rankings this year? Will Scranton retake the crown? Etown? Susq?
