Yup!! Memories of Schardt, Howard, Gringeri, Nelson, Corcoran, and even our own KMartin hammering away brings back memories of welts and pain.

Re: Hobart 2025
First time poster but been a fan since my time as a statesman. A much more winning time. Was curious as to who you all think could replace someone like John Herlihy. He reminded me a lot of myself in college just with a few extra pounds packed on. I’m curious if max snellenburger could take that step having a similar build to us. On a similar note, how many guys on the team do you think shoot 95+ these days? Feel like we have been missing guys with an absolute stroke (especially now with John gone). Are there any returning 5th years with a stroke? Freshman with a stroke? Feel like 95 is the cut off at this level and could be a reason for our shooting woes in the past. Thanks and Hip Hobart!

Yes, there are exactly 8 guys that shoot it 95+

I believe that is the plan.oldbartman wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 12:30 pmWill he play lax come spring semester ?PL771990 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 9:44 amHe's with the football team in the fall. He isn't doing both.oldbartman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 11:51 pm Any word on whether John Harding is practicing with the lacrosse team? He's on the football team and had a solid first game. It would be a heavy load to practice with both squads, especially as a freshman.

50% we struggle with guys getting to 25% lately.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

The alumni look sharp as always!!!oldbartman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 2:45 pm Alumni game is Friday Oct. 4 at 7 PM. Homecoming weekend. I hope there's a good alumni turnout as it is a Friday night. Though I understand why. A couple of those noon Saturday games had we alumni in "subpar" shape.
Looking forward to making a better showing than the past couple years. Maybe we should try and keep the beers on the sidelines for a change

Just spoke with a source close to the program, there are now 11 guys that can bring it over 95mph--you fruitcake..95+mphshotin92 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 10:00 pm First time poster but been a fan since my time as a statesman. Not sure about the 95+, but I'd guess most of the team has a stroke now and then.95+mphshotin92 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 10:00 pm First time poster but been a fan since my time as a statesman. I think most of us have already seen/read this. A lot of this stuff we already know. Lacrosse Reference newsletter did a bit more detailed statistical analysis.GeneralBart wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 3:40 pm In case you missed this . . .
