That doesn’t make a lot of sense. Leaving a program where you were the starting goalie, played very game to go to a program where you are competing with at least 5 other guys.

You can’t blame the kid for wanting to play for a clearly better program. Maybe he was tired of DC, maybe he wanted to wear green. Who knows, but get off the kids case, it’s his choice.

Maybe a good move for lacrosse. But post graduation outcome I would say Catholic is much stronger!

One of the all time great goalies of the conference. Congrats on the first HC gig. My only hope is Juniata is willing to make the necessary investments into the program for him to start to build something. Really tough coming off 2 one and done coaches.

Great selection, hopefully this will be the beginning of what should be a competitive program. The guy is a competitor at the core and will accept nothing less from his team.

I like this hire. I think Juniata will be able to settle in and build some momentum.

Great hire. He is a fierce competitor and has had success at Illinois Wesleyan.

He will recruit well, be a solid leader and this team will be much better year-by-year for the next several years.

Couldn't agree more. The more teams within the conference develop the better in terms of finally starting to establish some respect/credibility. Goucher bringing back Hannan, Juniata making this hire, and Drew bringing in their new coach is good momentum. Need the other programs to step up outside of Etown/Catholic/Scranton/Susq.

I agree. The LM conference is growing and the top 5-6 teams are getting stronger but there seems to be more parity too. A league situated in mid-Atlantic region is prime for this type of growth.

There are only so many players to go around in that region, that any team that would be emerging would mean another team is dropping off. The Landmark is what it is, a good alternative to the Centennial for kids who just don’t make CC criteria.

Abplanalp is the second Susquehanna grad now a head coach in the Landmark, joining Catholic's Peter Donley.

A credit to the coaching prowess and ability of Stewart Moan.

I am only saying that the region is strong in lacrosse and a lot of these schools could start winning some recruitng battles with other conferences including the CC. The north players in NY state would like to be at some of these schools compared to other northern options. I am not anointing them the new CC or ODAC or clc, but it could continue to improve in the LM conference with these hires.

Great info, Lax99.

Any word on Susquehanna's Jozef Korpics who also has entered the transfer portal?

Is it time to create a 2025 forum? Does anyone know how to create a new one?
