Another North Texas pastor is facing charges for allegedly behaving badly away from the pulpit. Authorities say the Plano pastor was arrested during an ongoing effort by police to fight human trafficking.

Plano police arrested 51-year-old Terrence “Terren” Dames, who was the senior pastor at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship in Plano. Dames is no longer a part of the church after police say he went online looking to pay someone for sex. He’s now charged with a felony.

On May 2, Dames called the number on the ad on a website that is commonly used by individuals to solicit sex for money and offered to pay $150 for the “full service,” which is a slang meaning for sex, the affidavit alleges. Less than 30 minutes later, Dames arrived at the coordinated motel room.

From a Dames sermon on the church’s Facebook page:

When a man thinks that he can go to a doctor and have him manipulate his flesh – and so can a woman too – if we who call ourselves Christians stand up and condone this evil and immorality, we are cursing God to his face and saying, ‘your image is disgusting and I will twist it to how I want it to be.’

That is what the government is saying! That is what the government is promoting! And when a Christian stands up and acts political versus an outcry against the wrath of God, something is wrong with that Christian! We’re living in a place that’s bringing down the same thing that happened in Sodom and Gomorrah!

We have legalized it! The wrath of God is going to come down and judge with wickedness of man! And this is what’s happening! Woe to men who enact evil statues (?). These are evil statues (?) that go against the moral principles of God! And they spit in God’s face and they scoff at him!

And people says, ‘Oh, Pastor Dames, it’s not nice of you to say that.’ Tell that to Jesus! Why do we accept this perversion? Pastor and preachers right now are ordaining homosexuals! And we wonder where the men are. They’re being told they’re women!

At any time in this preachers homily did he pray for those misguided WNC? What was it that Jesus told the angry mob when they were going to stone the woman to death they accused of adultery? An Ohio father read from the Bible, told his children he loved them, and called his own father – cryptically telling him that his eldest boy would be “the hardest one” – before he murdered his three young sons in a horror attack at the family home.

Chad Doerman, 33, shot and killed his sons Clayton Doerman, 7, Hunter Doerman, 4, and Chase Doerman, 3, in Monroe Township, about 75 miles west of Columbus, back on June 15 2023.

On Friday, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison.

Now, disturbing new details have emerged about Doerman’s actions in the lead-up to the murders – and of the final hours of the three young boys’ lives.

In a press briefing on Monday, Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Tekulve revealed that on the day of the shooting spree, Doerman had lunch with his wife Laura and told her: “This will be my last good meal.”

Despite this mysterious statement, Laura did not think there was a need to “do something to protect the family” and her husband then spent the afternoon doing yard work and playing with the children.





At around 3.30 to 3.45pm, Doerman began reading the Bible to Hunter, Tekulve said.

“He was walking around the house with the Bible, mumbling ‘Chad knows what’s right. Chad knows what’s right,’” he said.

Just before 4pm, Doerman asked his family to join him for a nap in the master bedroom. His wife and three sons entered the room with him while his 12-year-old stepdaughter watched television in another room.

When Doerman opened the gun safe, his wife grew alarmed, telling him: “You’re scaring me.”
