FBI Confirms Would-Be Trump Assassin as Thomas Matthew Crooks, Matches Democrat Donor Description Per FEC Data.
UPDATE–SHOOTER NAMED: The shooter was named by the New York Post as Thomas Crooks of Bethel Park, PA in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area. The National Pulse has found Federal Election Commission (FEC) data matching the name to a location in Bethel Park, which–if the same person–shows the shooter was a donor to the Progressive Turnout Project through ActBlue, a left-wing political fundraising platform. The Progressive Turnout Project helps to elect far-left Democrats to Congress and other offices.
On another note--and this is merely theoretical--but if a person truly believes that Trump will repeat, even in part, what Hitler did, don't they have a kind of moral obligation to try to take him out? A person doesn't need to be a "madman" or even mentally imbalanced--just deeply convinced that they will be doing humanity a service by murdering a future dictator who could probably be responsible for the death of who-knows-how-many innocent lives. That's why the ratcheted up rhetoric by some irresponsible politicians and media members needs to stop. It is exactly what is being espoused by folks like these which inspires people like Thomas Crooks. Shameful. When is enough, enough?
Yet you find out he donated to a left wing cause....and it "does count"?
Explain to me how that works in your mind? He can't be both?
Sorry mate, you can't have one and not the other. You don't get to "pick one".

RINOs are worse than commie lefty Dems, they're "traitors". And we know what to do with "traitors".
We've seen the rhetoric about Cheney and Kinzinger.

NBC reporting the father bought and owned the gun, not the shooter. Apparently legal purchase.

Of course it's not gonna get dialed down, it's been a full court press of hatred and division aimed at America for decades. Mostly for power and money. With maybe 45% of the population calling for unity, togetherness and healing. Which doesn't sell papers.

Trump is an aggressive centrist. Been a Republican annd a Democrat and basically pushes the angenda of 1980s Bruce Springsteen or JFK. All of his policies poll in the majority. It’s the swamp that does not want the majorities desires. That Trump actually means to implement common sense reforms makes him an existential threat to the swamp. Like JFK was.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 11:14 amTrump, has changed his political affiliation via registration five times.a fan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 11:06 amSo.....a $15 donation counts. And yet, you completely ignore the sitting elected representatives and media types advocating violence towards their competitor. It cuts both ways.
How do you expect this current tinder box to not ignite, when even you are only mentioning blame against one side. That's the very thing promulgating all this.

Case in point. Ironically enough, the conversation taking place in this scene between two characters cast as intelligent men, one a medical doctor and the other a former school teacher, comes from a movie based on the 1979 Stephen King novel The Dead Zone, which hit the silver screen in 1983.OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 10:03 am On another note--and this is merely theoretical--but if a person truly believes that Trump will repeat, even in part, what Hitler did, don't they have a kind of moral obligation to try to take him out? To a degree, no--it doesn't matter. The reason I posted the fact that he contributed to an organization which helps put far Left politicians in office was to defang an argument that some on the Left would undoubtedly have made, if that was all the information we had on his political affiliations--that he was registered as a Republican; something along the lines of what Malcolm X infamously said after the Kennedy assassination. Not that the fact has stopped the Left from blaming Trump and his supporters in the aftermath of the assassination attempt anyway.
In any event--that's why I posted initially.

Yesterday, you tried to blame the left for the shooting, remember?
Want to retract that blame now, since you seem to not want "the left" to point out the kid was a registered Republican?
Does this not work both ways?
Re: Benjamin Shapiro Weighs in
Not one ounce of introspection on the right's contribution to "the temperature of this nation", as Shapiro put it.......straight to blaming the left? It's all them, and they're why the shooter tried to kill Trump.
And of course, this conclusion arrives before we have any clue what the kids motive was.
Are you serious with this stuff, Wregget? Clearly Shapiro is.

Will Trump call for healing – or rub salt in wounds – in wake of rally shooting?
Hmmm
He’s such a nice guy, probably call for healing.

The video analysis by knowledgeable personal protection professionals of the various SS agents, especially when they had Trump down by the armored vehicle for extraction, would be comedy gold if it wasn't so serious and frankly, downright scary. Numerous agents seemed to be employing some sort of "agent cosplay" techniques which the experts are picking apart in wonderment.
One particular agent, her head ping ponging left and right at 500 rpm, suddenly decides to draw her weapon in the middle of the pack, nearly fumbles that draw, miraculously doesn't negligently discharge the firearm, and then takes three fumbling tries to reholster it, including one into her badge. All of this while never wavering from the ping ponging head. Does the Secret Service have a Z-team?
Mind bogglingly inept game day performance by a once proud agency.
The only freedom which deserves the name is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it. John Stuart Mill On Liberty 1859

We have zero details. Impossible to tell if there was a failure. Bognino has no shame....wait for the details to come out before throwing the SS under the bus. These people put their lives on the line for someone who isn't even in government right now. Love that FoxNews decided to throw out "DEI" as the cause of the shooting. Cool. Keep on circling the drain, and learn NOTHING from yesterday.
Way to go, America!!
