Saginaw Valley State originally announced adding women's lacrosse for the 2021-2022 academic year back in February of 2020. Seems they have been side tracked a bit. Just saw they are advertising for a head coach now on the IWLCA site. A year or two late but another Midwest school looking to become relevant in women's lacrosse perhaps.

As stated above; Saginaw Valley State announced in February 2020 the addition of women's lacrosse in 2021-22. They have finally hired a coach and the team will begin in 2024-25.

Point Park has hired their first coach. No indication of when the team will play its first season but it will most likely be 2026. An announcement will be made today or tomorrow if they are accepted for D2 membership.
