Marquis to Albany, via his IG
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Interesting combo,
Silas Richmond and Marquis.
Silas Richmond and Marquis.
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Good for him! Scotty Marr is legit. I realize everyone has a story. But , it’s nuts how many people DRYROT on the bench. As example, Jack Korlas was totally misused. And should have been given time prior to 2024. I don’t want to hear from the Bentleys crowd.

Carson Boyle (A) from Vermont to Stony Brook with two years remaining per his Instagram. America East All Rookie as freshman.

Is it just me, or does Vermont lose a lot of guys every year?JustPassingThrough wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 6:57 am Carson Boyle (A) from Vermont to Stony Brook with two years remaining per his Instagram. America East All Rookie as freshman.
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Marr has done much better lately bringing in talent, recruits, transfers - nothing like 10 years ago,
but Marquis now, Silas Richmond a couple years back, Jake Piseno graduated but was defender of the year last year, Albany made its 1st NCAA since the Connor Fields final 4 team of 2018.

Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Ryan Doherty (L) at attack just won Rookie Of The Year as well. Starting goalie is a freshman too. Returning 7/9 leading scorers (Hogg was 3rd leading scorer, and Piseno was the 8th- insane for a pole). FWIW, Albany and Georgetown (tied at 5 G's) had the lowest goal differentials vs ND in NCAA Tourney. Played a really tight first half too (granted ND looked asleep).10stone5 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:43 pmMarr has done much better lately bringing in talent, recruits, transfers - nothing like 10 years ago,

Towson's #2 fogo (No slouch- 54% 26 gb's in 12 games this year) transferring in and now Marquis too. Majority of the roster back, plus incoming freshman. Albany is a state school so he'll always get a majority of NY kids per class, but it looks like he's been going out of state quite a bit as of late and it's been beneficial. 13 different states/provinces represented on the roster for next year.
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
When Syracuse could not get the Thompson’s admitted they went to Albany. Made Albany a destination school for a certain profile player. Not surprising Marquis ended there.10stone5 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:43 pmMarr has done much better lately bringing in talent, recruits, transfers - nothing like 10 years ago,

Owen Peters goalie from The Mount commits the divison 2 LR. Played half the year in goalie for the Mount. Believe he has 3 years left of eligibility

This also leaves The Mount with 2 goalies left on the roster. Rising sophomore and incoming freshman.Idonthavealefthand wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 4:05 pm Owen Peters goalie from The Mount commits the divison 2 LR. Played half the year in goalie for the Mount. Incredibly ignorant (and factually inaccurate) statement.OCanada wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 10:16 amWhen Syracuse could not get the Thompson’s admitted they went to Albany.
