Interesting, I thought this problem only existed in the United States. I guess other countries have issues too.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 2:46 pm

Watch for Stephon Castle to be taken as high as 3rd in this evening's draft. Rising up the draft boards quickly!

Who said the USA is the only Banana Republic? I like Castle. He grew up as a point guard and moved off the ball at UCONN. He can make plays for others. He could be Jimmy Butler.JoeMauer89 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 1:58 pmInteresting, I thought this problem only existed in the United States. A little bit lost in the shuffle on SCOTUS thread is the Fischer decision dropped on Friday. Stumbled upon the Turley unpacking below and found it to be interesting.
Curious on thoughts of folks here regarding the J6 insurrection narrative having a major chapter yanked from the playbook.

So the sales pitch here is: the National Guard would have killed a few dozen Jan 6th rioters, and that would have been a better outcome?youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 5:22 pm Pelosi owns some part of this….. https://x.com/thewakeninq/status/180696 ... a82I2GssRg
How come you guys don't use this looney-tune defense with the smash and grab shoplifters?
You have NEVER said that it's the store's fault for not having better security.
Gotta solid explanation for why you guys are playing this game? You're telling me that you need someone with a rifle to keep you from crossing a police barrier, and to storm a Federal building with a mob....while your Senator is in there, doing their job?
And if that rifle isn't there, you're too stupid to understand that what you're doing is against a whole mess of Federal laws?
Please. Stay on this thread and make your case.

How you guys can not comprehend that appropriate security personnel actually makes a significant difference is beyond recognition.
Let's use your logic, and that of those in your tent......Let's defund ban the police (how that work out in Minneapolis...wasnt even a a year and they were crying for more , do away with Capitol Hill Police, hell...let's get rid of Secret Service while we are at it. Border patrol....ha!, Joe is praised by your nut huggin buddies for recently adding more Border Patrol and actually saw a decline....but nope, more security at the Captiol was futile; got it.
It not a game, it's common sense...and I know full well you have it. It's okay to say...:you know what, they did need more and they fugged up", much like your discernment during covid knowing we messed up at times being stuck in the middle of it, the difference....we already know what type of security is needed during protests, and it was refused, ask yourself why was it?
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

What you're telling me is that the difference between you personally breaking the law, and not breaking the law....... is that we have to have someone who has a gun preventing you from breaking said laws. And if that gun isn't there? Suddenly you get a case of the stupids, and start breaking laws.
Utter horesh(t, and you know it.
Youth...there were HUNDREDS of protesters on Jan 6th who didn't pass those barriers, and didn't break one single law that day.
Explain to the forum how this is possible. You're acting like you think that lack of the National Guard PROVOKED those idiots to break laws.
I'm stunned this is what you think. Where is your sudden expertise in security applied anywhere else on the forum? The Antifa arsonist is suddenly not guilty in your eyes because there wasn't adequate security at that Federal Courthouse? It's "someone else's fault" he did that?
Come on man. This one doesn't pass the laugh test.
Want my advice to the Jan 6th idiots? Here ya go:

The only person to die on J6 was Ashli Babbitt, a Trump supporter, who was shot and murdered by a black Capitol police officer. Trump denounced protesting the Capitol and told people to stand down in a Tweet. Nancy Pelosi celebrated when people started entering. It was her job to call for more troops and failed to do so. She orchestrated it with help from the Deep state and other Feds. There were many Feds, Antifa and Democrats posing as Trump supporters. J6 was a museum tour compared to the BLM riots of 2020 which left many dead and cities destroyed.

Re: January 6, 2021: Insurrection or “normal tourist” visitation?
She wasn’t “murdered.” First of all, she had broken into the Capitol and had broken some number of laws already. She was climbing through a broken window or door. Obviously, she knew this was illegal. She had been warned by someone in the mob that the police officer on the other side of the door had a gun. She was told by the officer at least once, maybe more, to stop. She disregarded his lawful order to stop. She was about 75 feet away from Nancy Pelosi and appeared to be hell-bent on assaulting her. The officer was protecting Pelosi. It’s unfortunate that she died, but she basically charged a cop who had ordered her to stop and whom she knew was pointing a gun at her. Not very smart.

That’s being murdered. If she was a Democrat you’d be screaming about police brutality. You’re acting extremely partisan. We’ve had cities burn for much less if the cop was white and the victim a black felonnjbill wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 8:07 pm She wasn’t “murdered.” First of all, she had broken into the Capitol and had broken some number of laws already. I think you need to look up the legal definition of “murder.”

Try again with the trolling: you can't just give us veiled attempts to tell us that Blacks are criminals and aren't allowed to protests, and that the Jan 6th White Republicans are sooper-awesome, and can do whatever they want and it was the Deep State Jewish Space lasers that made them riot at the Senate.
You have be more direct, and throw in the gays, dems, trans, bi, and for good measure, tell us the Jan 6th rioters were paid by Soros (again, gotta put in the antisemite part), and injected the rioters with the Covid vaccine so that they were so confused, they hung out on the Senate floor.
.....oh, and be sure to add in socialists, illegal immigrants, and tell us that George Soros (you know, your Deep State) paid for all of them to riot on Jan6th after their third Covid booster shot, so it wasn't their fault they broke laws. Oh, and space lasers. Don't' forget the lasers.
Be better, Pete! it ain't that hard to troll, my man. Step it up!
